Bosch Rotak 34

It is one of my chores at home to cut the grass, as my wife doesn’t like that job. In order to make my job easier, I use a Bosch Rotak 34 lawnmower which I bought last year. I purchased this lawnmower from Amazon for £102.99.

The Bosch Rotak 34 lawnmower is an electric rotary lawnmower which can be used on lawns of varying sizes. Weighing in at 11kg, this lawnmower is lightweight and easy to handle. The main body is black with a green edge around it. The motor is a 1400 Watt Hi-torque 'PowerDrive' motor. There are two metal bar handles protruding upwards from the body of the lawnmower, with a support bar running across the middle of these bars. The handle at the top of the bar includes a safety button the lever to activate before you are able to start the lawnmower.

I try to cut my lawn regularly, but that is not always possible and sometimes the grass can be quite long by the time I get around to mowing my lawn. Fortunately there are 10 different heights of cut (20-70mm) available to use, so you are less likely to encounter problems when mowing. The box collecting the grass is connected to the rear of the lawnmower by a flap which can be lifted up to release the box and has a capacity of about 40 litres. I like having a large capacity for the grass box, as it means that you need to empty it less often. This lawnmower comes with unique grass combs allowing you to cut right to the edge of your lawn. You also have a roller on the lawnmower which means that you can add professional stripes to your lawn, like they do on football fields. There is a long cable which is 12m in length making it easier to use on larger sized lawns, but I still have to use an adaptor to be able to reach the nearest plug in my house.

I think that the Bosch Rotak 34 lawnmower is great lawnmower with some great features which help to make mowing the lawn much easier and quicker. The 2 year parts and labour guarantee that came with this lawnmower makes it an even better choice. At about £100, this is a great choice and I would recommend it to all gardeners and husbands who are saddled with this chore.
