Advantages Light-weight, easy to manouvre, height-adjustable handle

Disadvantages no retractible power supply cord, poorly designed grass box

Having carefully researched mowers and tried out a Hover Mower as well as this model I opted for the Bosch Rotak 37 because it is light and copes well with my uneven lawn, full of bumps and holes.

I have been very pleased with this medium-sized electric push mower. It has some good features including multiple height settings, grass combs, grass box, long power supply cord and safety switch on the handle used in conjunction with a bar that goes across the full width of the handle to start the mower (so equally good for right- and left-handed users).

What I like about this mower:

- quality of cut
- grass combs (which facilitates cutting close to walls, brick borders
etc) work really well
- weight and well-positioned carry handle make it easy to lift over all
the junk in my garage when putting it away.
- the handle has two height settings - ideal if you are tall (I am 6'5")
- it is easy to adjust the cutting height, using a handle on top of the
mower

What I don't like about this mower:

- There is no retractible power supply cord
- The position of the grass box means that when you remove it to
empty a full box you inevitably get grass clippings falling onto the
lawn
- The user manual is not particularly good but the controls and
assembly are quite straightforward so you don't really need it
anyway

My garden is about 40m square, and the mower needs emptying twice when cutting a week's worth of growth, which seems reasonable.

In terms of performance I would have rated this product as excellent however the slightly annoying grass cutting spillages that occur when emptying the grass box and lack of retractible cord means that I have rated it as 'good'.
