Once installed by a plumber, this dishwasher has been in use most days and I could not be without it now.
You first program the dishwasher for the area you live in - depending on how hard your water is and the need to add salt to the wash - full details are given in the instuctions on how to do this and it is very simple.
The instuctions for use are easy to follow and thorough for all programs.
This model has a digital display and tells you how many more minutes the program has left to run.
A longest wash takes just under 2 hours and the quick wash under 30 minutes.
It runs very quietly and is not intrusive as general background noise.
There are racks to hold your wine glasses and sharp knives on the top tier. The top tier can be altered in height. The lower one can be removed completely if you want to wash baking trays etc and these are slotted into the base of the machine.
It is very easy to maintain and clean, the filter catches any loose food particles. The filter is easy to remove and cleaned by rinsing it under a tap.
A great advantage is the cutlery container as this is made to fit anywhere in the lower tier, and is moved around to suit the load being washed.
Being slimline it does not take too long to fill, and the plates do not have a chance to dry out. The dishwasher holds 9 place settings and the quick wash manages to get everything sparkling in 30 minutes. Although the 2 hour program is excellent for saucepans and oven-ware that becomes caked with hard to remove food. I'm always amazed at the excellent wash results from pots and pans etc.
It has a half load fuction and I have yet to use this.
It comes with a 1 year guarentee - although if you go to the Bosch website you can extend this for another year - free of charge.
It also comes with several dishwasher tablets to get you started - but no salt and rinse aid.
This model is slimline and suitable for anyone who is single or couples.
