Many people would consider £434 a bit too much to pay for a washing machine but nothing is too good for my little lady indoors and as she does the majority of the washing what the lady wanted, the lady got even though I cried as I handed over my credit card. I had wanted a washer/dryer combo so that we could have a dishwasher in the space saved but she insisted that a combo was not what she wanted due to past experiences.
So, the Bosch it was and the ExxcelWAS28466 was duly delivered and installed with no hassle at all leaving me with a very expensive, large (H842 x W600 x D590mm) front loading washing machine with enough technology and programmes to launch a mission into space. This is no joke, it is so easy to use and has such a range of features even I have mastered the fine art that is loading and using the machine. No mean feat I'll tell you.
There are 15 wash programmes that are controlled by an easy to move dial with the LED display that shows what has been selected before setting it on its merry way so there is no chance of selecting a hot wash for delicates. Programmes include a hand wash, silk, cotton, anti-crease, wool and intensive wash all at varying temperatures which are selected using the up and down arrows to the left of the display. Once loaded and the programme selected the timer appears and gives an estimated finishing time which is good for planning wash loads throughout the day.
With a drum capacity of 8kg and a spin cycle at 1400 RPM I love this washing machine and my wife is delighted that she can literally do the entire washing for the week in a morning without having to do 4 or 5 loads and every wash is perfect with even my muddy football kit coming out like new.
It might have been expensive but we wouldn't be without the new addition to our kitchen and I have to say that I'm glad I didn't opt for a washer/dryer combo now as I don't think I have ever owned a washing machine so good. If you need a replacement washing machine you seriously could not do any better than this make and model.

Bosch makes first-rate equipment. This sounds a good bit like my Maytag Neptune (for which I also paid a fortune). I do agree with some of the comments recommending a bit more detail, but the detail you provide is a better summary than I usually see in such brief reviews. Love your member ID, as I too am from across the Great Puddle.
