Our 10 year old Philips machine was becoming increasingly unreliable and had to go. A replacement needed to be easy and efficient above all and made to a standard that promises reliability in service. The purchase price was a further important factor, at £379 delivered from John Lewis, the price was considered to be OK, particularly as the price includes a 2 year guarantee. I bought this Bosch WFO2464GB/01 EXCEL 1200 washing machine from my local Comet Electrical store for £370 in September 2002. My attention was initially drawn to this particular model by the many recommendations attributed to it by members of an internet based consumer website. Fortunately for myself, this washing machine has lived up to expectations, as it has proved itself to be an excellent all rounder.
