The stainless steel drum has built in sensitivity technology to care for every garment and the paddles which are usually metal are made of soft rubber so it won't damage your delicates.
A drying speed of 1400 rpm, most tumble dryers have an average of 1000 rpm so this is slightly quicker.
11 different program settings, making it ideal for all sorts of clothing and if you are in a hurry it has three different drying levels.
A small LED display shows the time remaining for your clothes to dry. When the dryer is finished it automatically triggers a buzzer so you don't have to keep checking on it.
One of the most useful features is a delay timer. This timer can be set for up to twenty four hours in advance. Simply put your clothes in the dryer select the delay setting and then select the time you wish for the dryer to come on, then select which program you wish to run during that time. It also has a normal timer so you can choose how long it dries your clothes for.
There are five control buttons: start/stop, low heat, signal, start In and reduced ironing.
It has an anti-crease cycle and a fluff filter. Everybody knows how annoying it is to find lumps of fluff amongst their clothes and this machine works extra hard to make sure you don't have that problem.
Normal condensers need to be filled with water on a regular basis so there is a nifty piece of technology built in to tell you when the water is running low and it you will be very surprised at how little it takes.
There is also a warning indication for when the filter needs cleaning.
It is extremely quiet a mere 64dB of sound even when it is spinning at maximum speed.
All these features are crammed into an 842mm high, 598mm wide and 625mm deep case. It weighs 31kg so it can easily be placed on an eye level shelf. It is easy enough for anyone to use and usually people stick to the one setting but with this condenser it practically chooses the correct settings and recommends a time for you.
I found myself getting through my laundry a lot quicker as the tumble dryer I had before was terrible compared to this one. The program aspect of it was a little difficult to begin with however I when i referred to the user manual I understood right away. I would never usually put any of my woolen items into the dryer for fear of it coming out smaller but I wouldn't have them dried any other way. I love my tumble dryer and I trust it so much I know I won't need to replace it ever again.
Prices range from £318 to £450 and although it may seem expensive it is worth every penny and will last a life time. It can be purchased from any good electrical store or online. Energy efficiency is a major factor when it comes to major electrical appliances and this tumble dryer will put your mind at ease with a huge energy rating of B. Energy ratings range from A to G with A being highly efficient and G being very low.
All in all this is one of the most fantastic tumbler driers on the market, I would definitely recommend this to potential buyers and technology lovers alike.
Advantages: lots - read the review! Disadvantages: not sure how durable fluff filter will be
...models I opted for this Bosch machine, largely, I have to say, based on its energy efficiency rating (B - don't think there are any dryers out there ranking A, not that I found anyway) and the reliability/durability of the Bosch brand. Yes, it was undoubtedly more expensive than a lot of others on the market but I felt it would be money well spent.
So, was I right? It's still early days for me to comment on reliability but I am impressed by a number ... ...in my opinion, the machine will automatically switch off when your load has reached the level of dryness you selected and not just run and run until the programme has finished.
* Choice of "dryness levels" - iron dry (i.e. still pretty damp), cupboard dry (ready to go into the airing cupboard/slightly damp), very dry (just right/ready to wear) or extra dry (not tried this yet).
* Super large drum able to take 7kg of washing and with rubber paddles ...
