We purchased this machine in October 2004 and ever since my wife has been complaining about the amount of hot air that comes from the machine. The machine is located in a large kitchen / utility which becomes unbearably hot when the dryer is in use. We have to open the windows to reduce the temperature. After contacting Bosch they are unable to confirm that this is normal or is likely to be the result of a manufacturing defect and want me to schedule for a service call to check the machine, for which I may have to pay. Our daughter has an Electrolux condensing dryer and we have experience of a Fagor and neither of these machines have the same problem. In fact the Fagor is excellent! We are so disappointed that we may have to throw the Bosch Dryer away and buy a new machine. I imagine that the energy savings will pay for the new machine in a few months.

Hi, even with having problems, telling the consumer the features , load max, settings, what energy rate is it, how much does it cost, where can you buy one. How does it perform drying time etc. adding these things to your review and maybe placeing the bit you have at the bottom as an overall opinion would gain higher rating, Hope you don't mind my suggestions it is just more fair giving all points then your overall opinion. Of course reading around the site will help you to see whats required. My gb is open if you get stuck, lou xx

Not an expert, but I would take a guess that you may have a leak in the ducting pipe, which is causing the exessive heat. I have heard about this happeing on many occassion.
