This machine washes well (40 degree cotton wash takes 1 hr 8 mins)
The drying function is good (1 hr 10 mins approx to dry a cotton load) and the automatic drying function works really well - not dried to a crisp or too damp.
The 1200 spin gets things dry without too much creasing (having had a 1600 spin machine previously there is little difference in dryness but a big reduction in vibration and noise with a full load)..
Main complaint is that the machine is quite noisy - especially the pump which runs every 10 seconds or so when drying or continuously when spinning.
This is my 3rd washerdryer. Have had good experience with Zanussi and terrible experience with Hotpoint the 2 year guarantee that comes as standard was a key reason for purchase. The Bosch has less features than the machine it replaced but overall it washes as good as the hotpoint (and more quickly) and the drying function is much better than both predecessors.

Do you happen to know what the energy efficiency rating is for this machine? That would be a key purchasing point for me.
