This surface-mount 100-watt loudspeaker is engineered for commercial venues that demand high-fidelity sound, powerful bass and proven reliability in a compact, stylish cabinet.Bose FreeSpace 203 loudspeakers deliver quality sound without the need for special equipment and additional accessories. They can often be used with an existing amplifier to replace current loudspeakers or to expand sound coverage.Each Bose FreeSpace 203 loudspeaker uses two proprietary Bose 4.5-inch (11.4 cm) StarDriver speakers. They are engineered to provide consistent, high-quality sound. They are also are more reliable than conventional speakers whose small, separate tweeters are often unable to handle the high power and extended use required in many business applications.
Advantages: Excellent quality and very little if any background noise. Disadvantages: I would advise using a seperate bass speaker if these frequencies are being used.
...The Mackie SRM-350 offers great quality sound, and performs excellently in live situations. I have used my set of these for many live situations, and the sound has always been absolutely brilliant. if you are looking for some good quality speakers at reasonable price these are what you want. as a single speaker this could be used to expand your's existing PA, or be used to monitor mono mixes. Weather in a live situation or being used just to monitor or listen to CDs or works in progress, they will produce excellent sound quality. This quality speaker from mackie produces excellent sound quality on vocals, and instruments alike. This speaker really stands out from the rest with an excellent live sound, and durable too, with a free gig bag making it even easier to transport....

...It's hard to write an exciting opinion on a pair of speakers but when i was dribbling with lust over my pair of Spirit Absolute two's the other day i thought i would let everyone know just how sexy they are, (and yes, i am really that sad ).
Spirit Absolute two's are designed as nearfield monitors for use in studios for the final mixdown and mastering of a piece of music. This means that they are designed with different aims in mind than your average set of hifi speakers. Accuracy and clarity are the order of the day here with as flat a response as possible.

The Electro-voice SX300 PA speaker is an extremely lightweight PA speaker, but still delivers in both sound quality and volume as bigger and heavier speakers. I myself bought these speakers for use as monitors for my music studio, but since then I have used them for discos and other activities at my school, as they are easy to transport. I use these speakers with two EV bass cabinets and power them with two peavey power amplifiers. This rig is amazing for small gigs and vocal announcements in small-medium sized venues.
Construction
