Although these headphone do sound good the rubber tips fall of to easy, apparently they are working on some replacement tips, but really they should have sorted this out before releasing them.
I was in to minds whether or not to return these but after reading some other bad review I decided it was the only sensible thing to do. (be warned the staff in the Bose shop tried everything under the sun not to let me take these back for a refund, it took me 15 minutes of arguing and threatening trading standards before getting my money back. Although to be fair I was one day over the 14 days they say they will accept them back, but I hardly think this is unreasonable and is pretty shocking customer service I will never purchase anything from Bose again based on this experience...)
Quality wise the headphone to sound go the Base is particularly noticeable the first time you listen to them, although after a while and with certain types of music I found it a bit much and would adjust the bass setting on my mp3 player although it was nice to have this option.
Across the rest of the music range they are noticeably clearer than the pair of £20 Sony i was previously using, although only very slightly. I went and got a pair of Sure EC2 after returning these Bose and to be honest I am a lot more impressed with these so far. Although I will have to try them for more than one day before I start raving about them (but so far they sound far better and I wish I bought the Sure EC2 two weeks ago instead of purchasing on the bases of the brand name quality...)
To sum up good sound quality but thy only real quality these headphones have going for them is the brand name and releasing these headphones has severely damaged my opinion of the Bose brand, would not recommend these headphones and the fact they were ever released leads me to question Bose as a company.
If you do feel the need to buy these don't buy directly from the Bose shop the customer services was awful!
Advantages: amazing sound, great range, deep bass, amazing comfort Disadvantages: none
First thing to mention is they come with Rubber ear pieces which are replaceable in three different sizes. Small, Medium and Large, to fit your ear. Which you might not think is important but it makes such a difference. It ensures the actual speaker part of the headphone sits in the right place inside your ear, to get the best sound, but also means you have comfort and none of that rubbish of them constantly falling out.
They are soooooooooooo comfortable!
... ...swear, ive never heard such a range and amazing bass levels from any headphones, even over-the-ear Sony DJ headphones weren't as good as these. They're amazing. Sometimes i think the sound is better through these than my £300 Mission floorstanders. They cut out most external sound and just immerse you in the sound. I have to let you know about them. They are amazing. You've never heard music before until you've listened to it through these headphones. ...

Advantages: Good sound, comfortable fit, durable Disadvantages: Soudn isn't the best in this price range, deisng is poor
...headphones, my father purchased a bose iPod docking station which came with these headphones free. Naturally I wanted to compare them to see if they were any better.
I never really did get to test them because I always used my own pair. But recently, my Sennheiser headphones packed in after just 6 months. I don't quite know why, but I'm not particularly bothered. I'll get a new pair. But in the time between them breaking and me getting a new pair, ... ...CX300's too, probably a good job they came free with the docking station. Seriously, if you want a good pair of headphones, for an acceptable price, that are comfortable and crystal clear - buy the CX300 headphones from Sennheiser. The Bose headphones are decent, but there are better out there. ...

Advantages: Great sound, enhanced base, superb compfort Disadvantages: may fall out of your ear without the right size ear cone
These bose headphones will set you back around £70, in my opinion money very well spent. I enjoy all types of music from classical to hip-hop and im going to try cover a large range of genres in this review. First thing I'll tell you is there are better headphones out there for classical or vocal music due to the enhanced bass capabilities of these headphones, so if you know you listen to low bass music i recommend other headphones than advertise ... ...great as you'd expect from bose and the carry case a great accesory, with three sizes of ear buds to fit most you really need to try which are best for you as you will experience them falling out a lot. however the silicone tips are uncannily compfortable. Next thing to be careful of is breaking them not to the extent you can't use them but you may find yourself picking up ear buds if your too harsh with them. Otherwise it's what you'd expect from ...

Advantages: Fantastic sound, exceptionally clear Disadvantages: Take a little time to get used to
I was looking to buy some Shure earphones and then I saw these. I looked up a few reviews and people were changing to these from Shure. So I went for them...they are great.
They push quite deep into your ear and have 3 sizes of buds to ensure a good tight and comfortable fit. This makes them cut out 90% of the external sounds with no need for noise cancelling technology. It is recommended to turn off your equalizer and hear the pure music. I was ... ...in tunes than I ever had. They seem to have mini woofers and tweeters in the earphones which is amazing.
They come in black or black, and come in a nice case to keep cables tidy. They cost £69 everywhere, the comparable Shures seem to be double the price.
Really the only way to realise is how great thse are is to buy them. Get them from Bose's web site and you get a 30 day trial. But I do not think you will want to send them back.
As long as you ...

Advantages: cheap, good treble, crisp bass and good noise isolation Disadvantages: none
...The EP- 630 has made quite a name for itseff as well as Creative. For such a low price, i was blown away by this little piece of art.
When the earphones that i got with my ipod stopped working, i thought BIG and bought the ridiculously priced BOSEin-ear earphones, and naturally i was impressed. I had some trouble with its wiring and so i had to hand it over to the service center. So, for the mean time, i decided to buy a cheap pair of earphones and bought the EP- 630.
I was dumbfounded because i actually found these earphones BETTER THAN THE BOSEIN-EARs at a fourth of its cost...!!!
The quality of music i gott from these earphones was extremely good. With decent treble, and a solid yet crisp bass, the EP-630 carves itself a neat little place in the market - at the very top !!
In addition, I found the noise isolation quite...

Advantages: Ultra super sound, really good value for money Disadvantages: at the price nothing at all
...What a surprise always had big headphones hated the little ones, got some of the inear ones with my phone impressed. Got these for my i-pod and they blew me away really fantastic tryed sures and ultimate ears and yes the ultimate ears do sound better but there nerly 10 times the price of these. Look out for the fake ones on ebay and aviod yer there cheep but the same word can be described for the sound. Furthermore with a 2 year waranty really cant complain. Also try the bass boost on the i-pod for a more enhanced and better sound. One of the best purchaces i have ever made trust the brand Sennheiser they are fantastic if you dont like the inear try the bose as they sit different to these and sound very simlar but are more expencive....

Advantages: Good qaulity screen, Confortable and Easy to use Disadvantages: Low memory, Pointless aplications, Could-be-better touch screen
.... Most tracks I have loaded onto the device appear to be crisp and clear through the supplied apple earphone. However, to recognise the true quality of the devices sound, you have to plug in some more expensive and better developed headphones. I brought a pair of Bosein-ear headphones from New York last year. These give of such a good sound on the ipod touch compared to the supplied head phones. However for $100 you would expect them to on most MP3 players. This is not strictly true though. I have tried them on a £20 MP3 player which was brought from boots over the Christmas holiday season and I have to say that no headphones can make the cheaper MP3 player sound much better. This proves that the quality of the device and the headphones put together have an overall impact on the quality of the sound. To operate the music player is very simple...
