Advantages: Amazing sound quality Disadvantages: Can only be used with iPod
I must say I couldn't understand all the fuss when MP3 players appeared on the market - thought they were just the latest gimmick for teenagers. That was until my brother decided it was time to drag me into the 21st century and bought me an iPod for a "landmark " birthday. It didn't take long to covert me to the joys of digital music - I still find it amazing that I can have my entire music collection stored on something hardly bigger than a credit card. When i first saw this little Ipod dock i was a bit doubtful that a thing of such size would be capable of producing a sound quality equal to a top quality stereo system. The music is crystal clear and the bass that the soundock gives out is thoroughly impressive.
Another quality aspect is the design of the SoundDock, whether in white or black, it will discretly sit in any corner of the room and surprise anyone who hasnt heard it before with its stunnig capabilities
For an ipod docking station the price is reasonably high but there is no comparison in the market whn it comes to sound quality so value for money is definatly another aspect this SoundDock brings.
Another quality prodect from Bose to add the their vast range of home audio ...

I did not expect this level of sound quality from such a small speaker! The Bose SoundDock is a small, compact speaker system for the Ipod range. It has great looks, amzing sound quality and suprising power!
There are two different sound docks.. the first one was basically a plug in speaker system just for use with the ipod, perfectly good for anyone who is looking for amazing quality. This one costs £199. The second one they bought out, which i have also got, is the same system apart from it has few extra features. It has a rechargable battery so you can listen to it on the move, it has a carry handle built into the back for ease of transportation, the dock is on a rotating platfrom so it can be made to fit flush to the dock and then open at a touch and then most importantly it has a 3.5mm Aux input that now the user is not limited ...
