Advantages: Not restricted as to what you connect to it. Sounds and looks the best!
Disadvantages: Remote is too complex and long winded to setup

...is a awkwardly shaped large "L" with the tv at the lower join of the "L"; so not going to rule Adatiq out. Overall Conclusion; Yes it is expensive, however this system is going to last us years. It has the inputs to give us the choice to change kit i.e. blu-ray or hd etc etc. I could not commit to purchasing a lifestyle 28/38/48 system as the technology other than the speakers is out of date. Lifestyle 48 has no HDMI's; Restricted DVD play back ie divx or multi-region not to mention HD-DVD's yet...Bose have hit the nail on the head with this system, it gives you the owner to be flexible and know your not througing awat a lump of cash on a system that will be out of date in a year!... Advantages: plug and play

...I wanted a system that I could plug in and watch and listen. I am not a Hi Fi junky but like nice things. I read all the reviews about don't touch BOSE its rubbish , get better for less. I drive a Porsche, its noisy, not very comfortable, eats the petrol and I could have bought a car that does everything better for a fraction of the cost, but boy do I love it. The same applies to my Bose. It looks neat , it never fails to impress visitors that say the sound is so natural, i never have it turned up high so would not know if the sound deteriates or care, it does what it says on the tin. It was pricey, but hey everyone in the family can use it , including the four year old. So if you can afford it but it. You will not be dissapointed, if you are a Hi Fi guru you wouldn't be considering it anyway so please don't even bother... Read review

...Awesome bit of kit. Just bought this for my wife, for our wedding anniversary gift! I know weird, my wife actually asked for a gadget for a gift! Simply plug into the wall, slip in your iPod and away you go. The sound output is excellent and operation is easy. Cant give you any technical detail or references, but suffice to say its good. She has it set up in the kitchen so she can slave away listening to her favourite tunes. The sound dock is so light and easily portable to which ever room you want it in. Design is very contemporary and fits nicely into my MAC lifestyle apartment. Remote has basic functions and works well, skip tracks, volume and on off. I bought mine overseas and was considerably cheaper than the prices quoted in the UK. The only downside is I will have to purchase another iPod as the wife keeps mine at home permenantly...
