When i first saw this little Ipod dock i was a bit doubtful that a thing of such size would be capable of producing a sound quality equal to a top quality stereo system. The music is crystal clear and the bass that the soundock gives out is thoroughly impressive.
Another quality aspect is the design of the SoundDock, whether in white or black, it will discretly sit in any corner of the room and surprise anyone who hasnt heard it before with its stunnig capabilities
For an ipod docking station the price is reasonably high but there is no comparison in the market whn it comes to sound quality so value for money is definatly another aspect this SoundDock brings.
Another quality prodect from Bose to add the their vast range of home audio ...
of the speakers, fade etc.
I then played the last song on the Eagles album ?Hell Freezes Over?. This song was written and performed for this 5.1 DTS system. Each voice can be heard uniquely in each of the 5 speakers. There is no bleeding (i.e. background noise, or noise from another speaker channel). Superb!!
Also you have the option of adding ?zones? onto the system, so you could have speakers outside, controlled by the one remote, and the signal is relayed back to the Lifestyle system.
The remote control is a little big, but easy to use. You can change the system to run off 2, 3 or 5 speakers. All the usual controls.
You do have the option of several types of Bose speakers that are compatible with the Lifestyle 35. Having listened to several, I found that the
Jewel, although more expensive had a far superior clarity and definition than ...

Before i start this reveiw i want to state that the Bose soundock is an exceptional piece of kit. Before i bought mine i toyed with the idea of a lesser quality and obviously less expensive option but was lucky to hear a freinds unit before i spent any money,needless to say the difference in sound quality is like compareing a honda to a porshe. Personally i'm a convert but i will try to be unbiased.
