I did not expect this level of sound quality from such a small speaker! The Bose SoundDock is a small, compact speaker system for the Ipod range. It has great looks, amzing sound quality and suprising power!
There are two different sound docks.. the first one was basically a plug in speaker system just for use with the ipod, perfectly good for anyone who is looking for amazing quality. This one costs £199. The second one they bought out, which i have also got, is the same system apart from it has few extra features. It has a rechargable battery so you can listen to it on the move, it has a carry handle built into the back for ease of transportation, the dock is on a rotating platfrom so it can be made to fit flush to the dock and then open at a touch and then most importantly it has a 3.5mm Aux input that now the user is not limited to just an ipod but they can use and MP3 player. This one costs around £280
As for the quality of the sound. When i was sold my bose at a highstreet store i had a demonstration of a few different speakers. I then listened to the bose and it was a massive cut above the rest. The sound quality is perfect, the volume can be increase all the way with no distortion at all. When i had the demo everybody turned to see wht was making such a racket!
The connectivity between the Ipod and the system is good aswell. In the box you get a few different dock inserts to fit the Ipod you have got so that it doesnt flop around in the gap. When using the dock you can also change track and volume with a remote control that controls the Ipod, alot of the other docks do not have this feature and so this again make the Bose a very good buy.
In the end if you are after quality from a small portable device! This is what you need!
