It’s true there are other pedals such as Rocktron’s Hush pedal for you to choose, but the NS-2 has a simple yet unique feature of being able to power another seven pedals when used with a psu. So you’re in your local guitar shop looking for a new and exciting pedal, why the hell would you want a noise suppressor? The answer is simple. As anybody who has an effects pedal chain will know, effects pedals, especially ones like chorus and flanger, can produce annoying noises when you’re not playing. ... ...main use, is to power the other pedals when it is attached to the mains and the power inputs of other effects, though you do need to buy the adaptor and leads separately. This is especially useful as it saves on batteries (effects use up 9V batteries in no time), and will pay for itself after a while.
This is a solid pedal, it does its job as needed but doesn’t do anything especially exciting on top (as you’d expect). If you need a noise suppressor ...
