Advantages: Great build Disadvantages: not much !
...The peadl i have is a p202 with base plate, and cost me a very reasonable 65 quid. construction is pretty much flawless and the pedal has a huge range of tuning options to suit whatever style you want. Vert sturdy and unlikely to move, due to a velcro strip on the bottom of the plate and two spikes at the front of the pedal, and the knuckle saving side tightening screw are also handy features. the head features four different playing surfaces to give four quite different sounds . All elements are adjustable and all are easy to operate and will stay in their set poition/tension for a good period of time. A great all round pedal for heavier players or lighter drummers who wanted a seriously solid dependable pedal....

Advantages: Reliable switching action, durable Disadvantages: Not piano-style, can slip, cable perhaps too long
...I use this as an una corda pedal with my Casio Privia PX-310 stage piano, alongside an SP-20 as the main sustain pedal. As you'd expect from Casio, it's well-made and has served me well through many gigs and even more hours of practice at home.
This pedal is a class above the cheaper models available in this design and the switching action is positive and reliable. Obviously though, anyone hoping for the realistic action and feel of a "proper" piano pedal will be disappointed.
Despite the rubber underside, slipping can be a problem on some stages. At nearly 2 m (6 ft), the attached cable is almost certainly longer than you'll need and this can contribute to the inevitably messy-looking stage, but it's a minor gripe.
A perfectly acceptable budget sustain pedal, but before long you'll want to spend a little more on a proper piano...

Advantages: Great sounds, flexibility and ease of use Disadvantages: Limited number of presets per bank, LCD display hard to read on dark stages
...This is a nifty little piece of gear that cost me RM1 250 back in 1999. Boss doesn not manufacture this anymore, so get your hands on one as soon as one is available. Of course, the built-in volume/wah/pitch bend pedal is not as responsive as those on dedicated units; but it gets the job done. The effects, such as chorus, delay, reverb, overdrive and distortion are definitely BOSS, and the sounds are comparable with that of dedicated BOSS stand-alone stomp boxes. There is a slight learning curve involved with this unit, but the presets suggested in the manual do offer a good starting point on which to build your basic sounds. Bank switching is done via footswitches, and is quite effortless once you get the hang of it. As there are only 3 presets for each bank, you might have to do a bit of 'dancing around' with the 'bank up' and 'bank...
