Boss have an extensive range of effect pedals for guitars, the one I am reviewing here is the TR-2 Tremolo pedal. I purchased this pedal a couple of years ago and I believe at the time I paid £59 for it, brand new.
Construction
The TR-2 is a sturdy looking pedal. It has a solid looking, all metal construction which ... ...I like the single function Boss pedals as I have always found them to give a pleasingly warm effect which also doesn’t mess up your guitar tone. I’m pleased to say that this tremolo pedal is no different in this respect. The tremolo effect has a lot of warmth to it. With a bit of playing around, you can make the effect sound quite a lot like the sort of tremolo you would expect to hear from a vintage Fender or Vox amplifier.
