...from the pmx40s. The bass is enhanced with a crisp tone, fortunatly though, the bass is produced in such a way, that it doesnt drown out the mid range. There is absolutely no distortion at loud volumes, where the pmx40s tended to buzz. The only trouble with the pmx60s is the fact that when turned up loud, they leak sound, which is perhaps not so ideal if you're on a bus or train. If you plan to use them for bus journeys or train journys you'll either have to have them quieter, or buy the pmx200s which don't leak sound[cost you an extra £10, money i wasnt prepared to pay due to the extra bulk they carry]
The creative HQ-140s, although they look the same, i can assure you are not of the same standard as these headphones.[my sister has a pair of the creative ones] The creatives bass doesnt seem so apparent, and the sound is a little too...

Advantages: Portable audio and video player. Disadvantages: Expensive to be carrying around...
...Slim, slick, stylish..all words I would use to describe the black ipod video (60gb). Which is basically a portable device which has feedback of audio, image and video.
Some of the key specifications of the ipod are:
-5.5 ounces (Very light!)
-2.5 inch colour display.
-Can store up to 15,000 songs or 25,000 pictures or 150 hours of video!!

Advantages: Professional setup for peanuts. Disadvantages: Need a professional amp for audible playback.
...Great turntable. Takes up quite a large amount of space however. It connects to your HI-FI using RCA cables so make sure you have the correct auxilliary connection round the back. Sadly I bought this hoping to use on either my or my dads HI-FI. My Dads 25 Watt Speakers produced little out output even at full volume and my 60 Watts speakers little better. I would recommend you use a powerful amplifier for the best sound. In the end I ended up using a Marshall amplifier and it sounded great. Further more I used the turntable in conjunction with an RCA to jack cable to record straight into protools to convert some vinyls into cd. A little tricky but a really nice detailed sound, and the option to edit those crackels and pops out. Nice sound quality, and easy to use; one you have balanced the needle. For very affordable price this turntable...
