Advantages: Super picture quality Disadvantages: None I can think of
...setting up and user instructions with good illustrations throughout.
The TV is a great platform for playing video games and gives a new life to those that have a reasonable level of resolution.
The menu system is easy to use with multi level operations rather than too many initial options.
It is possible to connect a number of peripheral devices to the TV via it's 3 SCART connectors and front & rear mounted AV connections.
The whole package looks good and stylish and has the added advantage of having a very sleek profile which is a major advantage over traditional TVs.

Advantages: lovely design, easy to use, superb picture on both analogue and digital Disadvantages: none in four months usage
...I spent over a year studying reviews and looking at LCD and plasma sets in dealers shops and both looked really good. But in September 2005 I saw high definition pictures on both types of flatscreen and thought that the plasma for me was slightly better although both were wonderful.

The Q link is really useful for digital recording whilst the SD facility allows me to view pictures from my digital camera.
Make sure that you buy an HDMI ready set , and the TH42 PV500 is absolutely superb....

(Panasonic also offer Identical 37" and 42" plasma versions, which would suit the majority of people better, and the viera range is also available in LCD up to 32" although some features vary.)
this set can be displayed in three ways, on the cabinet stand (pictured), wall mounted (You'll need a seperate wall bracket for this) or on a diamond shaped pedestal stand (A pedestal stand is like a "foot...
