Bouncers is a brilliant play. It is incredibly funny and very human. it revolves around a nightclub with several different groups of characters all played by the same four actors. They play lads on the pull, women on the razzle and of course the bouncers as well as others. The switch from character to character is very clever and the play as a whole flows from one sequence to the next. Godber has an eye for capturing a real slice of life with great humour. I would recommend this to anyone.

...and emotions of the four bouncers whose life stories become known to us as the story progresses , and their real personalities arebeing gradually revealed to us in the course of the book.
an amaizingly relaxing piece... as well as being terribly moving
