A Bounty made in paradise
Review of Bounty Chocolate by Groovygal

Advantages: Delicious milk chocolate, lovely coconut
Disadvantages: none to think of

...at Boots I noticed these Bounty bars. I think this is a trap to make waiting shoppers put them into their baskets whilst waiting in their long ques on a busy Saturday afternoon. Well like the mug that I am I fell straight into their little trap and placed the 37p Bounty bar into my basket with the other goods I was waiting to pay for. Bounty’s come in a long packet, about 18cms long, they are made by Masterfoods, which are based in Holland, ...
...Milk chocolate. I think that Bounty bars are quite original, as there are not many chocolate bars available that combine the gorgeous taste of Milk chocolate and add it to coconut. My first bite from this is wonderful. The coconut is moist and tastes delicious, the milk chocolate is quite thick. The first bar is gone very quickly. The second bar I eat by biting the thick milk chocolate from around the edges, and just leaving the white lovely moist ... Read review

I Had A Bounty On Bounty Beach
Review of Bounty Chocolate by Sexy-Kay

Advantages: Wonderful tasting thick chocolate with a magical moist coconut centre.
Disadvantages: They could be bigger!

...can mention: I had a Bounty on Bounty Beach. The memory makes me smile at least! This was in the south of France. I'd been travelling along the coast, eastward from St. Tropez towards Cannes, and heard of this special beach where the original Bounty television and cinema ads were supposedly made, a few years back. It was quite difficult to get to, well off the beaten track, but so worth the effort. The almost white sand contrasted vividly with the ...
...as I smiled at my Bounty Bar, divesting it of its wrapper. But, oh dear, it was far from being in tip top condition. I should have realised that this would happen, but it was still a disappointment. It was all soft, warm and sticky and - I don't know about you, but - this isn't the way I like them. A Bounty, straight out of the fridge, now you are talking! This has become an essential part of my once in a while, pick me up, mood enhancing regime. ... Read review

What's Desiccated Coconut
Review of Bounty Chocolate by vinodgm

Advantages: The best coconut chocolate around, filling
Disadvantages: Not as fresh as they claim

Bounty is many a persons favourite chocolate snack. Unlike other coconut associated sweets, this has been around for ages and for as long as I can remember. Bounty is made by the giant confectionery and food conglommerate Masterfoods and since its introduction has remain relatively unchanged, expect the label and pack size. Bounty consists of coconut covered in a thick milk chocolate. It is presented in a bar measuring approximately 2.5 inches ...
...me if I'm wrong). Bounty on the other hand have created a product that consists almost entirely of coconut, with just the outer layer consisting of chocolate. This allows one to experience the true flavour and effects of the coconut and is something that no other manufacturer or product has been able to do. I have been eating Bounty's since I was a child and have always enjoyed them and never really thought much about what it consisted of and what ... Read review

Review of Bounty Chocolate by nictastic

Advantages: tasty and unique chocolate
Disadvantages: i want more, much more

...expect to receive with your Bounty Easter pack, a large blue box, with the “Bounty” logo incorporated and a big picture of a coconut on the side, with tropical pictures of palm trees and sandy beaches, but sod all that, we want the good stuff, and it’s right inside, behind the small snippet of box cut out in a whirly swirly fashion, nestles a big blue egg, with two of the traditional Bounty bars on either side, “Bounty bars are also available in ...
...Ahem! So what do Bounty bars taste like, well shame on you if you haven’t eaten one, if you don’t tend to enjoy coconut then I would warn you off, as the bars are 21% pure coconut, with sugar and other stuff thrown in, oh fine, you can have a run down of what they are. Sugar Glucose Emulsifier Salt Milk And of course, it is all covered entirely in a generous layer of smooth and creamy milk chocolate, the bar actually has two segments, if you ... Read review

Phantasmagorially Exotic
Review of Bounty Chocolate by zoe_page

Advantages: It's chocolate! Widely available and cheap.
Disadvantages: Most variations are only available in milk, not dark varieties

...the op. -*- Bounty ‘n Me -*- Bountys have long been a part of my life, but then most chocolate has. I remember as a little 5 year old, being rushed all over town one weekend in April, looking for a Bounty Easter egg for my sister. They were being rather elusive that year, but since nothing else would do, we had to keep looking and, at the last place we came to (because naturally we wouldn’t continue looking when we’d found one ...
...importantly, they once filmed a Bounty advert. -*- The Products -*- From the days of just one Bounty bar, huge steps have been made in the coconutty world. Recent additions include Bounty biscuits – plain biscuits with a layer of coconut, topped with milk chocolate, and boxes of Bounty Calapuno chocolates – bite sized domes of coconut covered in crispy wafer and then encased in milk chocolate with extra flakes of coconut on top. I'll See You Hang For This Mr Christian
Review of Nouveau Bisc & Bounty by  Champ666

Advantages: 35p fot 37.2g
Disadvantages: Not enough Chocolate

...--- Introduction --- Making the correct chocolate decision first thing in the mooning is important, as a bad decision can lead to stress and heartache later in the day. For those of you who have not been keeping up to date with the latest developments in the world of chocolate, Bisc and Bounty is part of a new range of chocolates released onto the market by Masterfoods ltd. They are based in Melton Mowbray. Where the pork pies of the same name come from. Anyway they are a biscuit topped with a popular variety of chocolate bar in this case bounty. There are others available, such as Mars, Twix and M & M. --- The Opening --- The chocolate comes in a nice square packet which contains two biscuits, so without further waffling (which is a vain attempt to get a few E's) time to open the packet. The biscuit measures 3.6cm x 6... Read review

Bags of bountiful bars [updated opinion]
Review of Bounty Minis by  Kukana

Advantages: Chocolatey, sweet, not too filling, soft, delicious!
Disadvantages: High in fat , not too good in very hot weather; terrible if you dislike coconut (or chocolate)

...* My Bounty background * I have always enjoyed the taste of Bounty; it was my favourite chocolate bar as a child. Bounty has a soft, slightly chewy coconut centre, and is covered with a generous layer of Mars milk chocolate. It is inevitably rather rich, and I used to have difficulty eating an entire bar. It was actually packaged as two small bars, but once unwrapped they did not keep well. Besides, once chocolate is unwrapped my resitance becomes very low! While it would be an ideal bar to share with a friend, most of my friends didn't like coconut As I entered adult life, I had fewer and fewer Bounty bars. It seemed extravagant to eat an entire large bar myself, even if I could manage it; so instead I would find something else that could be shared with other people. My husband prefers other chocolate, and one of my... Read review

Bounty: Mango Mango Fandango
Review of bounty with mango by  benraiben

Advantages: Tastes Lovely!
Disadvantages: Appear rare to come by. Not for people on diets I assume!

...I am shocked to see no reviews on this chocolate bar!? Does anyone know that this type even exists? 'Bounty' adverts usual concern a man, or a women, and they closes their eyes, and slowly bites in to the Bounty.....Palm trees appear, the waves crash. The sun shines down on them... But does all this really happen when you bite a Bounty? Join me on my journey, as we review a 'Bounty -'Mango edition''. Bountys come in a wrapper, about 16 - 18cm long. They are produced by 'Masterfoods' a company based in Holland. (They produce the likes of Mars Bar and Malteasers). You will have to (Coconut) shell out around 34p to about 37p for these chocolate bars. Now, what does this Mango flavoured Bounty look like? Well, as you enter a shop or any place that sells chocolate bars look for this: A light blue wrapper, with the white... Read review
