5 Stars Me And My Little Round Pot... Review with images 01/02/2008
    User recommends the product

Advantages Advantages Blusher, brush, mirror, pot, long lasting

    Disadvantages Disadvantages --

Blush Bourjois Rose De Jaspe I bought this blusher because my previous one was smashed to smithereens and wasn't really doing much for me. I first spotted it in Next and it really caught my attention because it looks so cute. I've used Bourjois products before and it's gave me a good impression so I thought I'd give the blusher a go too. I especially loved the colour and the added extras that made it special and so I went out and bought it from Boots. It comes in a pink round plastic container and is the same colour as the blusher, with gold writing on the front saying 'Blush Bourjois Paris 95 ... more

BOURJOUIS BLUSHER This comes in a lovely little plastic container like most of the items in the bourjois range, it is very fancy and something that looks nice in your makeup collection. This has a button similar to that of the bourjois little round pot eyeshadows. The whole container is pink including the button, on the front you will see "blush bourjois" written in gold writing and Paris wrote beneath. Then the shade of the blush is written below that also in gold. When you open the container and look at the top inside the lid you will see a nice little mirror which fits snugly in the ... more

Advantages Advantages Lovely little pot, compacted blusher applies an even coverage, excellent price

    Disadvantages Disadvantages None for me

Being extremely pale I struggle to find make up that suits me, but when I do, I’ve got a friend for life. It’s rare that I will stray and often stay loyal to that specific brand / product. That couldn’t be more true than for the Bourjois blushers which I absolutely adore. Available pretty much everywhere, the price always seems to stay around the £7.50 mark. Occasionally it may be on a promotion from Bourjois, but I think the price is spot on. I literally can get around a years worth of use out of one these little pots, as although they look small, the compacted product seems to last and last ... more

Advantages Advantages Good colour range, looks and smells good, includes brush and mirror

Disadvantages Disadvantages There aren't any, for me!

I’ve been using this blusher for years, since I treated myself to it on a whim, and I’ve never looked back. You can get it in Boots, Superdrug and anywhere else with a Bourjois concession, although not every shade is stocked in smaller places. Pricewise, Bourjois is at the higher end of the standard ranges - so, it won't be sold to you by a woman with a clinically well behaved ponytail in a white coat from behind a counter, but it's definitely pricier than your Rimmel or No7 stuff. It's also much better quality, though. This blush comes in at between £5 and £8 online. In Boots it's £6.50 at ... more

Bourjois is a brand of makeup that I have used quite regularly over the years. It’s what the Americans would call a ‘drugstore’ brand – widely available in places like Boots and Superdrug. Bourjois is a Parisian brand which has been around for almost 150 years. It is named after Monsieur Alexandre Napoléon Bourjois who created the world's first powder blusher in 1863. The brand originally created makeup for theatre performers but later branched out into makeup for the ordinary woman. The website, www.bourjois.co.uk has some interesting information about the brand's history and several pictures ... more
