Bourjois Blusher

BOURJOUIS BLUSHER

This comes in a lovely little plastic container like most of the items in the bourjois range, it is very fancy and something that looks nice in your makeup collection. This has a button similar to that of the bourjois little round pot eyeshadows.

The whole container is pink including the button, on the front you will see "blush bourjois" written in gold writing and Paris wrote beneath. Then the shade of the blush is written below that also in gold. When you open the container and look at the top inside the lid you will see a nice little mirror which fits snugly in the container.

When you look at the back you will see where the item is made and a barcode, i cant give an exact description as i have had this eyeshadow a while now and the label at the bottom is very faded but i can see that there is just the basic information and no instructions or warnings so it's not overly important anyway. I can just about see a sign which shows that it is recyclable.

HOW WELL DOES IT WORK?

This works excellently, i have two favorite blushers one which is Bobbi Brown and this one. The Bobbi Brown one is a red color which i use for when i am going out somewhere but when i want one for everyday wear and basically for when i just want to be lazy but still make a effort i use this.

It gives a nice healthy pink glow to my cheeks. I find because this is quite a light pink color you can be very quick when applying it and not worry about it not looking the way you want it to. You do not have to be overly fussy because it always gives the desired effect, with minimal effort.

I find red blushers take alot more care when applying because they are alot more noticeable. This blusher is solid and to get enough i find i have to swirl the blusher brush quite roughly on it because other wise it doesn't pick up the color.

I find that i can build the color up with this, like for instance if you wake up in the morning and you want something to make you look awake using no other makeup and just a hint of this on both cheeks it gives a nice healthy color and if you want a look for daytime and going out you can build the color up because it does get brighter when you apply more which is great for If you want a more noticeable effect.

I still prefer my Bobbi Brown one for going out this is perfect for days where i just want to relax. This also lasts forever LOL well that is a slight exaggeration obviously it cant last forever but what i mean is that i have had this ages and ages and i still have a fully formed blusher which looks as good as it did when i first opened it.

MY OPINION

I love this blusher and i definitely prefer this too the eyeshadows from the same range because this can give you the color you want based on how much you apply whereas i was disappointed with the eyeshadow because although i loved how glittery they where they didnt provide a overly noticeable color.

I love the container its so cute and compact the little mirror in it is great for if you want to bring it with you somewhere. It goes on very smoothly and blends perfectly, i love how it doesn't matter if your skin is white or tanned this looks equally great on both types.

I wear this on days i cant be bothered to go through the whole fake tanning routine but its also nice when i have tan on too. I find this is nice both ways whereas i find the red because its a deep red looks best when i have tan applied.

I think this is great and i would be lost without it because its a great little blusher and it is nice whatever way you use it, be it with no makeup to add a little bit of color or with the works. It looks nice either way, i also found it can be used with a clear colored lipgloss. If you mix this and the gloss together it gives your lips a nice light pink color and it can even look nice as a eyeshadow too.

Overall i think this is a high quality, multi purpose blusher and great value for money. It also comes with a lovely little brush which matches the container in its coloring.
