---BOURJOIS, PARIS . EFFET 3D LIP GLOSS--- I love the Bourjois range of cosmetics. For me, it is either Benefit or Bourjois and these two are the only brands that I choose to use. Apart from the odd item from Yves Saint Laurent, these two brands deliver imaginative and exciting products that really make me want to own them. The Bourjois brand has a fantastic and up to date image. It is slightly more avant garde in its approach to their image branding than most and I love their products and own many of them. I am, for my sins, a bit of a 'girly girl'. I suppose I am like any other woman when it comes to make-up, I have shed loads of it, I love it! And I hate to think how much I spend each year in my search for the 'perfect' mascara or lip gloss/plumper. My lips are naturally large so I don't need to go too mad in the plumping ...

Bourjois Effect 3D Lip Gloss Menthol

Advantages: Goes on well and does have a sheer finish
Disadvantages: The minty smell gets a bit sickly

I bought this in a very short space of time, I was in Boots and needed to add to my other items to get more points on my Boots card!! The colour of the tube first attracted me to purchase it as its a lovely turquoise colour and after reading about it on the offer I think its the only lip gloss containing menthol!! So it went in the basket, I decided that it would be ideal to keep in my handbag as its very slim and narrow, just like a pen so it wont take up much space. It does have a sheer effect when you apply it, it seems a bit more watery than the other Bourjois lipglosses but it didnt put me off and it does have the high-shine finish which is supposed to happen! After wearing it a few times the smell and taste of mint did start to bother me and although it was a refreshing smell and tingly feel to start off with it did get a bit ...

I think I've found out Angelina Jolie's secret to plump lips!

Advantages: LOVELY PACKAGING+ IT WORKS GREAT!
Disadvantages: NOTHING!

Bourjois has a good reputation for selling high quality products at low prices. When I'm in a make-up store, I'm usually browsing at the products at the Chanel counter, but sometimes you'll find me lingering around the make-up counters with the more cheaper products like Bourjois. Bourjois delivers products in exquisite packaging compared to other "cheaper" brands that offer products in plain bottles that far from stand out. When Bourjois brought out the 3d effect lip-gloss I was very excited to give it a go, I have average size lips so using products to make them look a bit fuller is something I'm no stranger to. The lip gloss comes in a slightly long slim plastic transparent tube with a gorgeous silver lid, once again Bourjois has packaged their products wonderfully as the colours go very well together and stand out pretty well ...
