Having been temporarily a student at Bradford University, I can assure you it's not a nice place to go to. I manage to get a transfer out, but I was lucky. Bradford itself is a fairly quiet city, with an awful architecture and planning. The University of Bradford is a bottom of the class University except for the Peace Studies Department and the Management Centre based degrees. Even so, the Peace Studies department was under threat of being extinct as they could not get funding and the Management Centre is trying to become an independent educational institution. It has a small library, a computer centre that simply does not work (they had their servers hacked recently, this shows how the professionals are) and a Sports Centre that is very poor.
My experience was with the Civil and Environmental Engineering department. Once a good department, this has gone down hill big time, both in lecturer quantity and quality. Most professors left the department, and as a result, two readers were made professors to compensate - this is not the right way of investing in research, and I understand now why the staff left. The department lacks staff for the number of students (i.e. funding) it wants to recruit. It offers Civil Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering and Environmental Management and Technology. These were properly setup, by previous members of staff who have since left to Universities like Sheffield and Glasgow.Overall, students complained regularly about the quality of the courses offered, and, in my opinion they were absolutely right. The level of education offered is quite simply bad. Not a good investment in your education if you ask me.

Your review is biased and wrong, bradford university is internationally known, and has a good reputation. Mechanical engineering is rated as 3rd according to the times department league table. At least 5 other departments are rated in the top ten according to the times. As well as being 7th out of 99 for graduate employment. You obviously have 'bad' personal experiences, but its not fair on others to provide false information based on your own thoughts.

his review is truthful ! the university seems to have all foreign lecturers all hard to understand and very very uninteresting and not enthusiastic at all. its a rubbish uni my school was more organised! i hate going there but theyv taken my money and i cant go elsewhere. its a low low low qulaity place i wouldnt even c all it a uni! just look at the informatics website it looks like my 10 year old nephew made it, the uni is rubbish and unprofessional and dire poor!
