Give Your Subconscious A Chance!
Jan 13th, 2007
Advantages:
The software has some very good parameters such as being able to set font and style of message text, and even the order of messages can be randomized . This is besides the other configurable parameters .
Disadvantages:
The program's screen size exceeds my 15" monitor screen size ! Also, the software does not come with any tips on how to create one's own set of subliminal messages; an art which not everybody is familiar with, initially .
Recommendable:

Despite its flashy name and jazzy bullet-riddled images, "Brain Bullet!" is a very easygoing software that works at the subtle level of the subconscious mind. It belongs to the genre of softwares that blend cutting-edge technology with New Age concepts that are founded on the principles of Transpersonal Psychology and Perennial Philosophy. For those unfamiliar with these terms: "transpersonal psychology" deals with the study of humanity's highest potential. This field of psychology goes beyond the mundane of psychoanalysis, the humdrum of behaviorism, and the existentialism of humanistic psychology, and reaches out to the spiritual dimensions of the psyche. The "soul" and the "subconscious" take on a rich meaning in its realms.
"Perennial Philosophy" underlines the universality of perceptions that human beings, irrespective of cultures and across generations, have about the nature of reality, the self, the world, and the meaning and purpose of existence. This philosophy is behind the self-dev tools becoming generic, and becoming available off the web, downloadable at a price. If you are familiar with the work of Dr. Emile Coué, you will understand Brain Bullet: it is optimistic autosuggestion techniques crossed with modern computer technology.
Enough said, on the esoteric subjects of psychology and philosophy! Let us turn towards the review of the product at hand. Here are my purchase details: Site: http://www.short10.com/?c=cbullet Price:
USD 39.97 Delivery: Software Downloaded, after paying through credit card Installation: Ran the single file that downloaded; the program went through the standard steps on a Windows machine, and put itself on the desktop, in the Programs List and in the appropriate folders; in less than a minute.
This tool can be used to address a diverse range of psychological issues that normally limit human potential; right from overcoming fears to obtaining clarity of thought, from altering your behavior towards the opposite sex to mastering new skills and talents, from dissolving away bad habits to being in control over one's emotions. Brain Bullet achieves all these and any other psychological issues by deploying the technique of subliminal messaging. The underlying precept of subliminal messaging is that a human being is selective about information that they are willing to absorb or accept. This selectivity happens at the conscious level, and is determined by the environment an individual was brought up in, the degree of cynicism that surrounds them, and the strength of their desire to achieve cherished goals. This software bypasses the selective filter of the conscious mind by addressing the subconscious directly.
Messages (positive or negative) which reach the subconscious are imbibed by the latter as an axiomatic rule by which to govern one's life. The subconscious then brings the rule into reality, and one's attitudes, thoughts, and actions are shaped by the rule. For example, in the case of a student of mine, the key theme of "Self-Esteem" that I worked out for him was to accept criticism, and to not let it be a judgment of his being. Once this rule became an axiom for him, his attitudes and actions began being governed thus, and his changed personality amazes those who have known him since long. The software comes pre-shipped with twenty-nine sets of messages grouped under the following categories:
1. Attitude Improvement 2. Business & Career 3. Emotional Control 4. Health & Well-being 5. Everything else These are issues that normally people want to see improvement in, in their life. The software provides the option to add any new category to this list: I created a new set on "Antenatal: Send Messages of Love to the Child" in the "Everything Else" category, with 20 message texts. To-be moms can install the software and let the subliminal messages percolate right to the subconscious of the child while it is still in the fetal stage. (I have posted an entry on my blog on this idea - http://success-nirvana.blogspot.com/2006/12/how-child-gets-to-become-messia h-or.html.)
After installation, you select any one of the categories that you want improvement in. After clicking on OK, the software falls as a system tray icon. While you continue to work on the computer, the software keeps flashing message texts present in the category list unobtrusively. At the conscious level, you are not able to detect any messages flashing at you. But rest assured, the messages reach out to the subconscious and begin to be absorbed by it. Following parameters can be altered by the user:
1. Selecting the set of messages to be flashed. 2. Location (random, centered) and order of messages (random, sequential). 3. Style and font of the text. This is a very good enhancement over the other products. 4. Display contrast of the messages. 5. Frequency of display of the messages (gap between each display, time for which a message should linger on the screen). 6. Choice of startup (load automatically upon computer startup, or display the welcome screen after the software is manually run). My tips for using the software effectively:
1. Always focus on one issue at a time. When you buy such a software, the tendency is to tick on all the categories simultaneously, and even create new categories and tick on them as well. This diffuses the focus and intensity with which the subconscious is trained on one issue, and the results may be a tad slower. [A colleague did this, and had to be persuaded to prepare a priority list of issues to be handled over the span of the next one year.] 2. Let the software run automatically whenever windows boots up. This ensures that most of the time you begin your work without even realizing that the software is running in the background. 3. If you are creating a new category, write self-affirmation messages that are short, crisp and to the point. Never use negative verbiage. For example: don't write: "I am not nervous at the interview"; say "I am always at ease all the time". In fact, this is one drawback of the software: it does not come with any handy manual on how to craft your own self-affirmation messages. (Now why don't these subliminal vendors do that - throw in a manual in the package? Should be simple enough for them, I think. May be they want to offer it as a separately-priced option?) 4. Message fonts may be small and blend unnoticeably in the background, with diffused contrast. If you can detect something flashing at you, then reduce the contrast a bit further. All in all, a good software, worthy of sitting on your computer and training your subconscious on some positive things, while you are busy doing your own thing.
(Addendum: Ciao's software asked me for "Sound Quality" and "Durability". Both of these are not applicable for the product being reviewed, of course.)

Interesting as always and seems like quite a bargain compared to the other products you have reviewed. Great review. Alexandra x

Another fascinating review! A pity that they don't do a free trial/demo so that one can see if it will suit them, but approx £20.00 for the full product is not outrageously expensive, if it works!
