Remy Martin VSOP- an everyday cognac
Advantages: relativly cheap and blissful for an everyday cognac Disadvantages: not as smooth as some of its equivilents such as courvosier
A real classic from remy martin..the VSOP is really an everyday drink, suple and spicy notes. It costs around £29 per bottle (75cl)
A fine smooth Cognac with rich plummy fruit flavours and aromas and a good dose of oak at the finish.
this is infact a champagne cognac which ensures only the finest grapes are picked from the champagne region and if you know anything about that it will mean that the end result is usually exceptional!
the congnac ... ...it up a notch to remy martin XO it costs around £90 per bottle but its a special drink
back to VSOP- its the most editable cognac, the bottle is made so its freezeable at -18 its flavours change and become more complex, a tottally new experience
served on ice- the traditional french way or drink it neat or warm ...

Courvoisier not for the connoisseur
Advantages: Relatively smooth finish Disadvantages: Obviously not as good as an XO cognac
...already hold this information.
Courvoisier is a big name in cognac, churning out millions of gallons of the amber nectar each year. Brandy is unaged distilled wine, armagnac is brandy that has been aged for under three years, cognac brandy that has been aged for well over the aforementioned period. The aging process adds extra flavours, roundness, and pleasure to the drinking experience. The degrees of age for cognac, starting with the youngest ... ...will give a pleasant finish, Courvoisier is only marginally differnt compared to any other similar cognacs. The difference is much more apparent in the higher end bottles generally those well in excess of £100.
If at home, try and serve cognac in a very large balloon glass as this allows a large surface area to come into contact with the warmth from one's hands, bringing out the flavour of the cognac. If available use a small spirit burner to very ...

I drink it because I'm sophisticated, honest
Advantages: Nice taste, mixes well Disadvantages: bottle empties too quick
While at University the motto was 'If it's wet I'll drink it'. While admirable this motto wasn't the cleverest and got me into more than a little trouble.
Since finishing those carefree and blurry days and starting the a full time job I have found my capacity for drink, as well as my free time for drink, has diminished. It used to be a few pints of lager on a friday night, maybe a few in the week, and that was it. Sadly combine this with a desk ... ...trousers a size bigger. For anyone who has noticed the pattern in my previous reviews (and if not why not) exercise and health concious Pete has emerged from the ashes. I'm not so health concious that I won't drink, just will be a little crafty about it.
After 600 words and no mention of the product yet you might be a little bored, but I promise I'm getting to the point. As well as cutting down on takeaways and hitting the gym regularly I decided ...

The Magic Taste of Martell
Advantages: everything Disadvantages: nothing
Martell Cognac, V.S.
I'm not a connoisseur, of Brandy's/ Cognacs but I know what I like, and what tastes good, And this is a very nice drink indeed.
This is a very nice French Cognac which just about mixes well with anything you desire, I actually enjoy just drinking my spirits neat, as I'm quite a Philistine , when it comes to etiquette .
Beautifully presented in it bottle, the Cognac gives of a burning Amber Glow, unscrew the lid and smell its ... ...no not a Beer Mug, and savoir its warming light fruity taste, with just a hint of wood about it, let it linger in the mouth for a very short time, to get the best from its aroma's and taste, before feeling that warm feeling trickle down your throat, making you feel good and warm all the way through.
I do buy all my drink on my many travels abroad, so the cost of a bottle is substantially different, but if I was ever contemplating swimming the English ...

Smooth and Golden
Advantages: High Quality With No Bitter Taste Disadvantages: Availability
...I always say yes if Vecchia Romagna Black Label is what is on offer. For me - this brandy should just be poured into a crystal glass and nothing should be added to it - complete heaven. I guess I should tell you about Vecchia Romagna - it comes in a very distinctive triangular yet curvy 70cl bottle. It is 38% volume - so not a weakling in the brandy world.
After doing some background research I have found out that the VR (Vecchia Romagna) company ... ...guessed it - it's always Vecchia Romagna Black Label. And I must admit whatever's in this drink it works because she always feels better in no time at all!!!! : ) And she swears it helps aid digestion - yes nan but only a small glass!!
If the title box had allowed me to my title would have read: Smooth, golden and if this was an Italian man VR would be handsome too.
Before we all believe this is too good to be true I did find one disadvanatge about ...
