The Braun InterFace 3612 is pretty amazing, it has more functions than the human body and gives you such a good result after shaving all that nasty hair clean off your face.
So why do I recommend this to you? What does it have that others don’t and what do you get for your money exactly? well let me tell you then.
Brand Name: ----------- Braun has been around for such a long time...... actually. It has created a name for itself over the many years, now Braun represent, good build, quality and reliability. Braun make products from start to finish in the electronic market and everything they make seems to come up clean and satisfying.
Shape & Size: ------------- It’s 12.5cm in Length and 5cm in Width. Although this may sound very big, it actually fits in my hand very well. My hand manages to grip it good feeling comfortable. The shape is not outstanding but being a Braun product it is, the shape is made for comfort. Therefore giving you an enjoyable and comfortable shave.
Looks/Design: ------------- I have the blue one of the blue/black choice, so its obviously striking to the eye. The blue is an ocean blue and transparent too, therefore, you can see some of the terrific build inside, but not too much that it becomes; urgh to look at.
It is stylish and you will agree with me on that, however it isn’t all that stylish. I think Braun have tried to make it look more practical and easy to use, simple but clever. It does have the odd stylish touch but isn’t so stylish that
you’d have it put at the very front of the bathroom shelve with a halo above it. __________________________________________________
Now I also mentioned the fact that this lovely Braun shaver has some very useful options, want to know more? Read on.......
Changing Options ---------------- On the front of the shaver is a large flat button that's moveable by push. It slides up and down from level to level where each level has a different option, there’s the On/Off, Foil and Trimmer. This is a cord/cordless shaver as well so you’ll be more free to use the shaver to it’s full potential. There is slightly more though so read on, here’s the options in detail below:
HOW IT WORKS: This works with 2 things, a floating cutter and a foil. The floating cutter is designed to cut away the long and curly hairs first, therefore that should be the first thing in the direction you shave so those hairs are gone. The foil works as a closer cut, it’s moveable so it’s comfortable, this gets rid of those little short hairs on the face and neck.
THOUGHTS: This is very good, I use this option the most, though then again, this is the main option. But it’s comfortable, easy to use and satisfying as it does do a good job in removing the hair from your face and neck.
Though if you shave daily or regularly, you may find that this option is not as good as the foil one as the floating cutter has no real use. This is a combined option and together they do work well.
--------------- 2-Foil Only ---------------
HOW IT WORKS: Well here the floating cutter is lowered so it’s out of the shaving zone, only the foil now comes into contact with the skin, giving a smooth, clean and exceptional shave. It gets rid of every hair left standing on the face and neck, whether it’s short or shorter.
THOUGHTS: I really think this is the most comfortable and most smoothest shave of all. However, I sometimes see that the foil is drowned in hairs which means that I have to get a tissue and wipe them off, it’s no big deal but it’s annoying. You can’t simply run it over your face just the once again without doing this.
Although, in time I will have to shave daily, morning and night like others. At the moment it’s a 3 day thing where I shave once in 3 days. For those who are daily shavers, the foil only is the best option for you without any doubt, use the foil only option.
HOW IT WORKS: After shaving you change the option to Trimmer, then a long in length thin strip pops out the front of the razor. This is used to trim all long hair, beards, moustache and sideburns. It gives an accurate cut and should be used often as it’s a unique option on the shaver.
THOUGHTS: I use this often, this is what sold the Braun InterFace 3612 to me, I really wanted a shaver with a trimmer and this had this.
I often use this to trim my beard line and sideburns keeping them nice and stylish as I should, I’m a man! However one problem I do find with this is that it pops out the side. Therefore is sometimes blocks needed vision to give a good levelled trim.
But, it isn’t that bad. You do have vision most of the time, just try to do this slightly sideways in a mirror. Other than this the trimmers great, it’s accurate, does a terrific job of doing it too. __________________________________________________
So there we go, now you have more idea about this Braun Shaver. But first you need to know just a little more.
This is not a battery shaver, good. This is an electronic one that needs charging. Inside you get the wire and charging part needed to charge the shaver. However you need an adaptor to fit it into the plug socket.
Charging Times -------------- For the first 3 times of using this product, you need to charge for at least 4 hours, which yeah, is long. But after that first initial shave charging time should only be an hour and will gave you about 30mins action of shaving time.
Remember to check that the green round light near the bottom is illuminated, if it isn’t then it’s not charging and you may need to check that it’s properly connected to the plug.
Cleaning -------- It says that cleaning should be done every 3-6 months and the head should be replaced every 14-18 months.
You actually get a 2 sided brush inside complete with the shaver. The brush is made with two different brushes so that your able to release the head of the shaver and get rid of the excess hair inside easily and quickly. I do this a lot more often, about every 3 weeks.
You will find that this does need doing according to the amount you use it. Cleaning it is fast and simple, made easy by Braun. _________________________________________________
OVERALL CONCLUSION: I would recommend this too all my mates, any men looking for this will enjoy having this as theirs. It’s easy to use, comfortable and extremely reliable. I only have a 1 year guarantee but I am 100% sure that this will last a long time longer considering I look after it and give it the love and attention it needs like us all.
I have mentioned the most fatal thing about this product, the position of the trimmer on the shaver. But it’s not all that bad because it does a great job and it does work.
You get a free carry case inside the pack including the charging equipment minus the adaptor. This was brought for Ģ39.95 GBP. It’s well worth the money and I doubt very much that I would now change this for another one. Best Feature: Foil Only option.

I recommend this to every man looking for a shaver. It might not be the very best, but then the best is going to cost so much more. For an InterFace ranged shaver, this is the best and you will really enjoy using it more as time passes.
