well, before I had an electric toothbrush, like everybody else I had a manual brush, it gets extremely boring brushing your teeth every day with one of those although I don't claim Braun makes it much more exciting, they do make it easier and less tedious for you. All you have to do is put the tooth paste on, turn the power on, and run it across every one of your teeth, the oscillating movement clens a lot better than any manually brush could, and it is not even harsh on your gums
