I was already bored to death of shaving. Waxing is not for me because you have to wait for the hair to be a certain length (too long!) before you can wax it. I had read about epilators, and they always sounded really painful... And seemed expensive for something you might not be able to bear to use... I happened to mention to someone that I was thinking about getting one, and it turned out they had one (a Remington) that they had never used because ... ...the pain too bad. It didn't really remove all the hairs, though, breaking a lot of them off instead. Still, I went online and had a look around, and found this one... I then waited for about half a year before I actually took the plunge and bought one from Boots. This one was actually a lot less painful than the Remington I borrowed, and it removed more hairs from the root. It only really hurts for the first few seconds, and then if you keep it moving ...

I bought one of these after joining the gym and pool. Its great! Really simple to use and can be used for bikini line and under arms as well. Lasts much longer than shaving, great for frequent swimming. No mess like creams and waxing. Having been told more
