Overall, the epilator is an ok way to get rid of hairs. i feel it seems to work best on people who are not as hairy, because the pulling out of the hairs are not as painful. i tend to use it on the face as well, which does work well. but what i did find, (like with any thing), the more i used it, the twezers became more duller, so therefore not picking up all the hairs so cleanly, esp the light ones. Its now not as sharp like in the beginning when i first had it. The light is also useful esp when doing the face. sometimes you may need a good pair of tweezers just to get them stubbon light ones.
this does work well, and the price is ok, esp with all the other attachments included, e.g the shaver, and the diff levels of epilating.
try to clean it regulary as well.
i gave it a 3 star, cus yeah it can at times, make your skin smoother, but the pulling of the hairs can hurt. and sometimes depending on the quality of the epilator, this my at times cut the hair rather than pulling, therefore causing you to have stubbleregrowth.
you may or will get the reddening of the skin, but that will soon disappear after a few hours.
try not to eipalte your skin just before or after you have a bath, cus you may become or feel a bit tender. any how, go ahead give the braun a go, it may or may not achieve the results that you are looking for. it has some what worked for me.
but over all its a good thing to have in your cupboard.
also mains and recahargeable would be nice to have.
