The difference in price between the 2 is approximately £30, ostensibly for a LCD Screen on the 8995. I was not interested in this extra cost and so the 8985.
The product was very easy to set up and was fully charged within 2 hours. The charge is meant to last for ... ...month's worth of shaving, but I have not yet had need to test this out. I have been using this product for just over a fortnight and have found it to be very easy to use. The razor is very sturdily built, but also manages to look sophisticated too. The shave itself is very close and comfortable, although, as usual, I still have to pay more attention to certain areas. It normally takes me less than 2 minutes to have a full shave. Advantages: Closest electric shave yet, self cleaning Disadvantages: Still not as good as a wet shave
The best electric shaver I have used to date.
I generally have a wet shave once a week and electric shave for rest of week due to easily irritable skin.
This gives the closest electric shave I have experienced to date, although it is not brilliant around the throat and adams apple area and requires several attempts, but that has been the same with every other shaver I have used.
I particularly like the 'docking station' which charges and cleans ... ...is sufficient for charge and it is always very clean after the cleaning cycle. This alone saves me hours of dismantling and careful cleaning as with others I have previously used.
Each cleaning fluid container lasts several months at this usage and are relatively cheap to replace, about £8 I think I paid.
I have been using it for 7 months now and have seen no deterioration in quality of shave.

I bought one of these after joining the gym and pool. Its great! Really simple to use and can be used for bikini line and under arms as well. Lasts much longer than shaving, great for frequent swimming. No mess like creams and waxing. Having been told more
