Advantages Good end result

Disadvantages Pricey

These are a fairly good brand of styler. They can curl and straighten. And the steam gives your hair an extra long lasting finish.

*Curling*

Curling is quite easy to do, and is advised to use the steam appliance otherwise your curls are likely to drop. You can produce loose curls or tight ringlets. One problem with curling is that the area where you hold the hair during curling is not rounded. So when you realise the curl, you end up with a bent piece of hair at the end. And though this can be straightened up it adds and an extra 15 minutes to the time taken.

*Straightening*

Straightening is very easy to do with these but do not produce the same effect that flat irons do. The good thing about straightening with these is that they are easy to curl you hair under or flick it out.

*Extras*

These also come with a hot brush piece so that you can produce soft waves in your hair and give it more volume.
The instructions that come with these are very simple and straightforward. The booklet is also very easy to read so it makes things much easier.
The red spot that indicates when the appliance is hot enough is very good because you don't need to test it by touching it.

A danger with these is that the hot area is exposed and they are very easy to burn yourself by just simply picking up the wrong end.

Though they come at a fairly cheap price and free cartridges. The cartridges do not always last that long (depends on how much you use them) and at £5 for a pack of 2 they can be pricey.

These are a fairly good brand but I would not strongly recommend them. They are good for curling but if you want a straightener you are better off getting electrical flat irons.
