Hi Im Susan and I am a typical girly girl! I have a rather expensive addiction to shoes (so much so my friends call me Shoesan!) and also make up, clothes, jewellary, bags in fact anything you can wear! I also like anything pink and glittery!

Im one of those people that you see where everything else in their life is a mess but one thing is perfect, their hair. I think it goes back to when I was a child I had really long hair and it used to get in my eyes all the time so as soon as I discovered hairspray it was like a miracle!
My hair has always been poker straight and to be honest it bored me and certainly didnt suit me. I could never recreate the blow dry look that the hairdresser gave me when it was all nicely turned under. I always though curling tongs were for old grannies to tighten their curls but then my Mum bought one and I loved the way her hair curled under. Poker straight suite very few people and unfortunatly Im not one of them so I wanted to keep the curled under look the hairdresser gave me.
My Mum has a fantastic Braun steam curling tong which we both used constantly but when it broke because straightners are sold more now we couldnt find a good steam curling tong anywhere so we gave up. Until a few months ago when I was in Boots and was given a £10 off electrical beauty voucher, I thought I might aswell use it so I went to see what was available and couldnt believe my eyes when I saw the steam curling tong.
I bought one for me and my Mum to share which cost us under £10 because of the voucher to see what it was like before we decided to get one each, we were both impressed with how quick it heated up, and how long it kept your hair turned under for, with many curling tongs it drops straight away.
When I went to London for a weekend I was running late so took the Styler with me and did it on the train!!
But now we come to the bad part, as with any straightner or curling tong it dries out your hair. My first appointment at the hairdressers after I started using it a tiny bit of the ends of my hair was dry and the second trip it was about an inch. I would still reccomend this product though because as long as you have regular trims it wont do any harm.
You can also use this appliance for straightening hair and curling hair but it takes a looooong time!!!
Overall I think its a great product and would highly reccomend it.
