Braun ORAL B Vitality Sonic (12 013)

My parents gave me one of these last year as a present so I've been using it twice every day for about two years or so and it hasnt once let me down and has been a complete and utter workhorse.

In the pack which comes in plastic and is near an operation in itself to get out, you receive an electric toothbrush, a base on which to charge it and a single toothbrush head. The charger is a two pronged one which goes into electrical shaving sockets. This can be a pain but you can easily pick up a converter which let's you plug it into a normal plug socket. The charger has safety in mind and as well as being aesthetically pleasing, the charging element is covered in plastic so no wiring is exposed and the toothbrush simply drops onto it.

Another benefit is the timer. I was always told as a child at school that you need to brush your teeth for two minutes and that fable seems to hold true with Braun as there's a two minute timer built in. It's pretty handy as I turn it on, run it around my mouth fr two minutes and then when it switches off I know I'm done.

The other good thing is the battery life. I've been away and had this toothbrush away from a charging point for up to two weeks and even as I put it back on charge it shows no sign of it running flat.

My only criticism is the toothbrush heads which I seem to go through more often than a regular toothbrush although I do think I brush for longer now with the two minute timer so perhaps that's why. It's not a great problem through as the replacement heads are readily available from any major supermarket and cost very little to purchase.

It's a great device, reliable, easy to use with a long battery life, and created with safety in mind. Highly recommended by me.
