Advantages: Quiet, smooth and comfortable
Disadvantages: Costly as a one off purchase

I thought this was a bit surprising since the cleaning unit is supposed to do the job ! But, - silly me, - there are times when you travel and do not want to carry the whole caboodle with you - so just take the brush ! - good idea.! ...gets most of the hairs in its path of travel in one pass, which my old one did not. This series of the Braun epilator also has a light on the body to illuminate the skin its about to pass over. As the hairs on your body get finer due to the epilating, they get harder to see from certain angles without good light. The LED on the Braun shows up the fine hairs that would be easy to miss without a close up light. It also comes with two epilating heads, the standard and the precision, as well as three caps, two for the standard and one for the precision. The two for the standard provide massaging rollers while one covers some of the revolving tweezers on the head so less hairs are removed in one pass. Advantages: The best electric shaver I have ever found
Disadvantages: It's quite expensive

...and the blade cleaned, dried and lemon scented. There are two settings ? ?fast clean? gives one cleaning/washing cycle (recharging at the same time) and ?start cleaning? which runs through several wash and dry cycles (and resets the hygiene status to 100% when it has finished and also fully recharges). It is easy and pleasant to you, and let?s be honest it also appeals to the gadget-obsessed little boy lurking inside to many adult men! I also like that Braun have me one power lead that I can use to plug direct into the shaver, if I wish, or which will plug into the Clean & Renew charging stand, and also given me a tough plastic moulded case I can put the shaver in so it survives travel.
