Advantages: Easy to use, pack and does the job Disadvantages: You have to remember to buy replacement cartridges
...I love my Braun style and go, it is so verstaile and easy to use.
it is small enough to carry in a bag or suitcase- indeed I never go without my style'n go.
This hair styler relies on gas cartridges to heat the curling tongs/ brush.
It is simple to use, just place the cartridge into the base, click into place and youare ready to go.
To switch on- all you need to do is slide the 'on' button from the '0' setting to the '1' setting, you then click the black button down to ignite the gas, wait a few seconds for the item to heat up and you are ready to go!
THis styler can be used with the brush attatchment or the tongs, Yyou can find this by sliding the brush attatchment off the tongs. You may need to depress the catch to release this.
I tend to use the brush attatchment most of the time as this is what styles my hair best. I have...

Advantages: Cleans well, promotes dental health, quiet and ergonomic Disadvantages: High purchase price, awkward angles at first
...the difference isn't all that earth shattering.
The Sonicare is much quieter than the Braun rotating head models. It also does require some getting used to, especially figuring out the right moves to make sure you clean the back of your teeth (where with the Braun toothbrush with a small head it's much easier).
The Sonicare does have a slimmer neck than the pulse rotational Braun, which does make it easier to swallow - so to speak. It also has a timer, which protects from overbrushing, and an indicator light starts flashing when the battery is low.
The battery charge doesn't last as long as I used to get from the Braun - but it's not like I take go anywhere without any electricity for more than a week.
The Sonicare is also a little bit less messy than the Braun used to be, which had to be cleaned regularly on the base due to brushing buildup...

Advantages: Whiteness of teeth, reaction from people Disadvantages: Price of replacement heads
...I finally splashed out and bought an electric toothbrush upon the recommendation of my dentist, who thought that because I am disabled, that an electric toothbrush might help me clean my back teeth more thoroughly.
After looking through the Argos book, I spotted my Braun on special offer for £35. I did consider just buying a cheap battery operated on for around £6, but I thought that if it would save me spending any more time than was necessary in the dentists chair, it was worth spending as much.
I was really excited about using my brush for the first time, but alas, it had to be charged. So I plugged it in overnight, and looked forward to using it the next morning.
My dentist told me that I should brush my teeth for around 2 minutes at a time. Fair enough, but I wasn't keen on the task of having to keep looking at my watch every...

This product fills me with completely mixed feelings. The player has several features; MP3 playback, picture viewer, voice recorder, touch sensitive 'intuative' controlls and noise cancelling headphones. When I first purchased this player I was very... more
I’ve always had a gas cooker and I suppose you get used to using one. When I was young and still living with my parents we had a Canon gas cooker and when I bought my first house I had a Cannon. I have stuck with the brand except for the cooker prior to... more
I was given this for Christmas and I hate it. It is the worst electric rasor I have ever used in my life.
It looks nice and I was quite pleased when I opened my present, however, after using it a few times, I've now had to admit to my girlfriend that... more
I saw this shaver on special offer in my local Comet for only £133 (Argos were selling it at £250 so the saving was over £100!) so I decided to take the plunge and buy one after waiting so long.
Unpacking the shaver is an adventure in itself, as the... more
