...I love my Braun style and go, it is so verstaile and easy to use. it is small enough to carry in a bag or suitcase- indeed I never go without my style'n go. This hair styler relies on gas cartridges to heat the curling tongs/ brush. It is simple to use, just place the cartridge into the base, click into place and youare ready to go. To switch on- all you need to do is slide the 'on' button from the '0' setting to the '1' setting,you then click the black button down to ignite the gas, wait a few seconds for the item to heat up and you are ready to go! THis styler can be used with the brush attatchment or the tongs, Yyou can find this by sliding the brush attatchment off the tongs. You may need to depress the catch to release this. ...the difference isn't all that earth shattering. The Sonicare is much quieter than the Braun rotating head models. It also does require some getting used to, especially figuring out the right moves to make sure you clean the back of your teeth (where with the Braun toothbrush with a small head it's much easier). The Sonicare does have a slimmer neck than the pulse rotational Braun, which does make it easier to swallow - so to speak. It also has a timer, which protects from overbrushing, and an indicator light starts flashing when the battery is low. The battery charge doesn't last as long as I used to get from the Braun - but it's not like I take go anywhere without any electricity for more than a week. The Sonicare is also a little bit less messy than the Braun used to be, which had to be cleaned regularly on the base due to brushing buildup... Read review

...I finally splashed out and bought an electric toothbrush upon the recommendation of my dentist, who thought that because I am disabled, that an electric toothbrush might help me clean my back teeth more thoroughly. After looking through the Argos book, I spotted my Braun on special offer for £35. I did consider just buying a cheap battery operated on for around £6, but I thought that if it would save me spending any more time than was necessary in the dentists chair, it was worth spending as much. I was really excited about using my brush for the first time, but alas, it had to be charged. So I plugged it in overnight, and looked forward to using it the next morning.
