    Advantages Advantages Small, lightweight, easy to use

    I received this Braun hand blender as a housewarming gift when I moved into my first flat 7 years ago. As I didn't buy it myself I don't know how much it cost but knowing more now than I did then about these sort of kitchen gadgets I would guess it was around the £10-£15 mark as it is a very basic, although branded, hand blender. Being quite a budget version it is in no way all singing all dancing like some blenders your see nowadays and pretty much what you see is what you get.     I have been the proud owner for a few years of a Braun Hand Blender and I think that it is a great product. It costs around £12.00 from Argos, Index etc, is easy to store and is fantastic for blending soups, sauces, you name it. When making food for my baby it was essential, it was so quick and easy to mush up a small amount of food and there are not loads of pieces to wash like lots of other blenders. You can get more expensive models that have extra things like a beater for cream but I think for a basic product you cant do better. I have had two and they have lasted me about four years each ... more
