My first Braun PRO 2000 hairdryer was a Christmas present last year from my daughter as between us we had worn out our old one! The name suggested it would be as good as a professional hairdryer.
I have to say that for the first six months of its life it performed perfectly, was really powerful - and I could dry my whole head of hair in one go. Toria was using it too, and she has long hair as well, so it was getting a bit of a bashing.
In July it started to cut out - half way through drying - so if I left it too late getting ready I was going out with one side of my hair smooth and straight and the other, wavy - very classy!!
I looked and looked for the guarantee as I assumed it had a 12 month warranty, but as usual it had fallen into that black hole where all things you need go to hide.
Around September time my hairdryer ...
Advantages: It drys your hair but still manages to be relatively quiet...and it looks pretty! Disadvantages: It's a little bit bulky!
I was bought this hairdryer a couple of years ago for christmas after many a month of my mother complaining about me constantly using hers! I picked it out primarily because I thought it looked pretty, even though it's just a hairdryer this stuff is still important! However I think it's fair to say that the look of the hairdryer is perhaps the most exciting thing about it. Although it does the job, it's nothing particularly special and can take a long time to dry my hair, (although my hair is abnormally thick so takes longer than the average person's to dry anyway).
The Braun Pro 2000 has three different heat settings, although even the top setting still doesn't get very hot, therefore meaning that it can take longer to dry hair using this hairdryer than some others. This is perhaps in order to achieve the quieter noise levels ...
Advantages: Hair free legs for weeks Disadvantages: None so far
I must admit when it comes to shaving I?m always on the look out for new products which makes life easier and something that lasts longer then just shaving alone.
I?ve tried all sorts, waxing which I am really not keen on much to painful for my liking, all sorts of different razors and creams and gels, which until now had the best results, but not anymore I have found one that goes that one step further.
Braun Silk Epil soft perfection is an epilator which removes hairs from the root.
The Epilator has lots of tweezers the opens and closes at high speeds and spins round pulling the hair out from the root, sounds painful, but it?s not as bad and painful as waxing.
~ How to Epilate ~
First of all make sure that your skin is completely dry and that it hasn?t got any grease or oil on it as it won?t be able to remove the hairs ...
