Up until approximately eight months ago, I was using your normal, everday toothbrush, no electric to improve clean, no tongue cleaner and no 'feel good factor' if you like, as the toothbrush circled around my mouth. I'd use to saunter into the bathroom at about eight o' clock in the morning and eight o'clock in the evening and give my teeth a nice hammering for about a minute or so.

You may initially think that that is a lot of money to be spending on something as meger as a toothbrush, but appreciating that the product should have cost £100, my Mum and I were 'well chuffed' with the deal we got! This may sound rather sad, but, for the first time in my life, I actually looked forward to the times when I cleaned my teeth, which, by a complete accident from me increased to three times a day!
Analysing the brush carefully, you can see that the bristles are uniquelly aranged. Furthermore, there were criss-cross bristles which were apparently deliberately designed to reach deep and to clean in between teeth! Also, the packaging informed me that there were also Power Tip bristles designed to reach more difficult spots of the mouth - spots, which with your normal average toothbrush often will get neglected!
One of the great aspects of the brush in my opinion is the fact that you can chose the mode that you would like your teeth to be brushed in! Firstly, you can have the most important, Clean, whereby the brush seeks to clean the teeth fully. Also, the soft and massage mode, that lets you fully enjoy the clean. Both modes cater for the need of your own mouth! The brush is rechargeable and will therefore not run out of charge!
In terms of disadvantages, there aren't many to tell you the truth. Many people will obviously think the the price is rather extravagent, but I can tell you now, it is money, very well spent. All you need to do in the bristles get too bristly is to replace the head; no need to change the whole brush!
All in all, this really is a great toothbrush and may I congratulate the guys at Oral B for their magnificent effore in producing this trully great product!
Advantages: Excelent cleaning Disadvantages: No low charge display
...comes with 2 brushes which Braun advise to change every 3 months, although if you look at the brushes the blue bristles go white when they need changing, and this sometimes is longer than 3 months. The brushes can be expensive, upto £11 for a pack of2, although I have seen them for £7.99, so shop around.
The toothbrush holder itself is light and easy to use, it has one button, which when pressed goes into clean cycle, every 30 seconds you get a ... ...spend on each area of the mouth, after 2 minutes you get a double buzz, this tells you that the recommended clean time is up.
Press the button twice and it goes into massage mode, this is ideal for sensitive gums.
The first time you use the brush you will probably notice 2 things:
1 All your gums will tingle, a rather strange sensation, don't worry you will gey used to it.
2 Your gums will probably bleed, this is because you will probably have ...

I bought an ORAL-B Toothbrush S-18.525 SONIC about 15 months ago/
- The blue charging light has failed.
- My dentist and gum specialists informed me that the Braun toothbrush with a circular head, that I had before, cleaned better. Because of it's shape it is hard to get the brush in contact with all parts of the teeth

Advantages: Cleans very well, timer is good Disadvantages: Charging is poorly though out. Switch in a bad place.
It cleans my teeth very well, and is quite easy to use. The brushes (which indicate when they have worn out) last very much longer than the manual says. The timer tell you when to move to the next quarter of your mouth, and when to stop.
Problems: The button switch is in a bad position, so it often gets pressed by accident and the brush speed changes when I don't want it to. (My wife has the same problem with the switch, so it isn't just me.)
There ... ...you either leave it charging all the time (bad for the environment), remember to charge it once a week whether it needs it or not or risk coming to an unexpected stop - awkward when getting ready for work. This is my second sonic toothbrush, and I preferred the Phillips.
In a nutshell, the basics are OK, but falls down on detail. ...
