What is it? Quite simply, its a hassle free coffee machine. The system uses T-DISC's, which are pods that have a bar-code on them to tell the machine how much water to dispense. ...one I purchased has been replaced once under warranty, I bought it in March and replaced it in June 2005. There is a large 1.5L removable water tank that can be awkward to fill up unless you have a sink, so beware if you want one for work and only have water dispensers. I couldn't disagree more with the previous review of the Tassimo. I've had mine for several weeks and it works great. I purchased it for $169 (US). It came with two packages of T-disks (Gevalia coffee and Earl Grey Tea - both excellent). I also purchased a package of latte (the package comes with one espresso and one milk T-disk). If you want espresso or latte at home, and you simply don't have room or can't afford a high-end machine, I highly recommend ...

I do like my Tassimo - thats beyond a doubt. It makes perfectly acceptable coffee quickly and easily. It looks stylish in the kitchen. However, I have found that unless you add extra hot water to the drinks, which obviously weakens them, the drinks are at best luke warm and this includes the expresso pods.
