Advantages: Fresh bread when you want it, excellent user guide and recipes
Disadvantages: Small-ish loaves, funny hole in base of loaf from mixer blade, gets eaten too quick because it smells too nice!

Advantages: So delicious, easy to use, no preservatives in your bread

Everyone kneads one!

Advantages: The bread it makes is lovely.
Disadvantages: You'll get through tons of flour.

Bread machines aren't for everyone. If they were then Warbutons would be extinct. Sure with a machine it's far easier making your own bread than it ever used to be (fancy a couple of hours of kneading, anyone?) but it'll never be easier and definitely not ...
