Kenwood Breadmaker BM250
Advantages: Price, size and ease of use. Disadvantages: Recipes aren't very successful
I have had my Kenwood breadmaker for about 4 months and I have to say that I have been very pleased with it.
I had looked at the more expensive breadmakers but decided on the Kenwood as I have other Kenwood products which Im very happy with.
To start with it's a good size, not too big and doesn't take up a lot of room on my work surface.
It's very easy to use, particularly the timer which I use a lot as I like to bake during the night using off ... ...the baking pan in place and I found these quite tight at first but they have gradually slackened off with use. Overall I think the Kenwood BM250 is very good value for money and I would recommend it as long as you don't use the recipes provided. ...

Kenwood Breadmaker 150
Advantages: Simple and easy to use. Great tasting fresh bread. Disadvantages: The kneader sticks inside the loaf
This is a really simple compact easy to use machine. Practical, does the job and is inexpensive.
I purchased this machine a year or so ago as it was on sale where I work and I had often remarked that I would like a bread maker. This machine is really simple to use and comes with its own measuring spoon and measuring beaker.
It has four buttons, the on/off switch and then a row of three, one which is for a basic white bread which has a programe ... ...for French bread which has a programe time of 2 hours 30 minutes and the third one is for whole wheat bread which has a programe time of 2 hours 40 minutes.
The instruction booklet is simple and explains how to use the machine, it contains four recipes, Basic Bread, French Bread, Wholemeal Bread and White Bread using French Bread Programe.
There is a troubleshooting guide at the back.
There is just one tiny little problem I find with this machine, ...

Kenwood BM200 - Cheap Bread & Great Jam
Advantages: Long Lasting, Cheap, Versitile, Very easy to use, Very easy to clean Disadvantages: None we have found yet
Having collected my Argos Vouchers from another site on the internet some 4 years ago, I asked my partner what she would like for her Birthday. Imangine my surprise when she said to me "What I would REALLY like is one of those BreadMakers". So armed with this information and the vouchers off I trapsed to Argos having looked in the catalogue and picked out the KENWOOD.
Having read the instructions and the recipe book we found it so very simple to ... ...in every supermarket, so easy to get and so cheap to. After about six months we decided to try out the ready mix packets from Sainsburys and Asda, we found that we were very disapointed with these, they just did not come up to scratch, or, was it the mixes? We tried others over the next year or so but always went back to the single ingredients.
4 years on and we buy our bread flour from Lidel @ 65p, yeast from the same place @ 29p for 2 sachets, ...

beautiful bread
Advantages: easy to use Disadvantages: took a little while to get used to
...old machine was also a kenwood but had long since given up the ghost!! Although it took me a little time to adjust to this machine compared to my old one, it produces very good looking and well-made loaves, consistently. It has 13 different breadmaking settings including a rapid bake programme.
It can make loaves up to a 2lb capacity.
The bake can also be delayed with a timer perfect if you want warm bread first thing in the morning.
It also has ... ...seem to steam up too much.
A recipe book is included with some great basic recipies. These can easily be adapted or if you have an other recipe book you could easily adapt recipies for this machine. I can only compare this against my old machine which was also a kenwood, but I find it extremely easy to use compared to it. The recipies are easy to follow and basically you put in all the ingredients in, in the order the recipie states and switch the ...

Fresh bread on a Sunday morning
Advantages: perfect loaf everytime, value for money Disadvantages: can't find any
...own freshly baked bread.
The Kenwood breadmaker that I use has provided my family with warm filling bread every day.
It comes with a comprehensive instruction and recipe booklet that is easy to read and follow.
The price has been well worth it, and it has paid for itself in the savings I have made by not buying store bread that does not seem to give any sustanance.
We almost have fresh bread morning, noon and night and the varieties that can ... ...make things like carrot bread or even yogurt bread they may sound strange but are simply delightful not to mention the numerous settings you have at the press of a button - If you just want to knead the dough and make some elaborate shaped bread not a problem, or even if your in a hurry quick setting will sort that out and of course if you want to wake up to the delightful aroma then you have the timer controller which allows you to set the breadmaker ...
