Bake me some bread as fast as you can
Advantages: Small, cheap, easy to use, creates bread and dough with no hassle Disadvantages: Few little niggly problems.
...we ended up purchasing this Morphy Richards Compact Breadmaker and so far we are pretty pleased with it.
When pulled out to the requisite few centimetres away from the wall, the worktop space it takes up is about 35cm x 30cm. This small size means it fits in nicely in the dead space between my microwave and kettle with sufficient space to still be able to prepare food.

The display panel is located on the top of the ... ...and browning level. It is reasonably well set out, but the screens location can mean those of a shorter stature (like my mum!) may struggle to see what they have selected. The panel also does not light up and as it is placed in the darkest corner of my kitchen I often have to pull the machine out or tilt it a little towards to light in order to check that I have chosen the correct setting.

wouldn't be without it!
Advantages: you know there are no added colourings, preservatives etc. Disadvantages: have to wait a good few hours!!!
I had wanted a breadmaker for a while but didn't know if I wanted to spend £30+ on something that I would use a couple of times and then forget about it. luckily a guy I worked with heard me mention to another colleague that Iwas after one and said I could have his - he had been given it last xmas and neither him nor his wife had ever used it. since then I have never looked back! fair enough, the loafs are small but they taste so good!! have also ... ...scratch - 3 weeks ago he would only eat cheese and tomato pizza but now wolfs down pepperoni, salami, garlic sausage etc. we also make our own pizza sauce which is messy but fun! admittedly I still buy bread from the shop but only use it for sandwiches at work (I would have to make 4 loaves a day otherwise the amount of bread we go through!) the ingredients are cheap enough - the most expensive one is yeast (about £1.00) but you get 6 sachets and ...
