Review of Prima ABM9 by

Advantages: Fresh bread without the mess
Disadvantages: Time taken
...When I first purchased my Prima ABM9 we were having fresh bread daily - I was even programming it to start and complete before breakfast. The aroma of freshly baked bread first thing in a morning was as much an incentive to get the family out of bed as the pot of fresh coffee that was brewing. Positives
A clean and easy way to make fresh bread, dough and cakes.
Never had a bread making failure - every time I've used this machine my family have ...

Prima AMB8 Review
Review of Prima ABM8 by

Advantages: Produces a good loaf, easy to use
Disadvantages: Quite a bulky unit
I have had this bread maker some time but have only recently started using it full time. I have used a few modes all with good results.
The dough mode produces fantastic pizza dough and the cake mode makes great loaf shaped cakes. I am also lazy and use ready mixes with great success in the machine.
Fast mode and normal mode work fine on the recipes provided and with others I have sourced from elsewhere.
My only complaints is that it takes up ...

Quick and Easy
Review of Prima MC100 M/CHO by
Trout69
Advantages: Easy to use, quick to clean
Disadvantages: Quite bulky, takes up alot of worktop space
...I got in touch with Prima direct and requested a instruction booklet, which they quickly sent me in the post. Since then i haven't looked back.
The capabilities of this breadmaker are endless. NOt only does it make both 1lb and 1.5lb loafs, with settings for both white and wholemeal flour (the wholemeal settings take slightly longer), it can also be set to just make dough so you can make your own rolls in the oven, or what ever else you see fit.
... ...ingredients in and away it goes. This cycle just omits the rising periods and goes straight from the mix to the bake. What else? Well it makes jam, i couldnt beleive it when i first saw it myself.
The timings for the cycles vary, but i would say on average to give yourself about 3 hours from start to finish. This obviously increases with loaf size and wholemeal flour. But if time is a problem, there is also a built in time which can be set up to ...

Panasonic SD 255 Breadmaker
Review of Panasonic SD 255 by
Sueydude
Advantages: Fresh baked bread, no wastage
Disadvantages: Make sure you take it out as soon as finished baking
Quite hard to get hold of but now have got one am thrilled with it, very nice to come down in the morning to fresh bread. You must make sure you are around when it has finished baking as will sink due to the moisture but mixes the seeds etc evenly as well and the pizza dough is very popular with my kids, as they can make there own toppings and there own size and thus no wasteage. The quick bake loaf is very nice too and no real difference to the ...

Very verstaile bread maker.
Review of Morphy Richards 48268 by

Advantages: Has timer and keep warm function.
Disadvantages: sometimes the kneader, get's stuck in the bottom of loaf.....
I bought this bread maker about a year ago from Amazon, I paid £34.99 and I am very happy with it, makes a lovely loaf and also you can bake cakes in it, takes alittle more prep but worth it. I have not tried to make jam in yet though.
Also you can make doughs also, i have done this for bread rolls, which th edough is lovely light and fluffy and simply shape into 6-8 rolls and bake in the oven. It's a very verstaile machine.
ONE problem- the kneader ...
