A very pleasurable, efficient experience

But as i use Quidco cashback site, the AA cashback was higher, and so i went to look into them at greater detail. I did this all online as i am a bit of WWW addict and so all this was down over the AA.com website. The website is very user friendly and so i was off and running straight away. Some sites you can be looking about for 10-20 minutes ... ...and conditions booklet, and the AA handbook. A well presented package which supplies everything you need to know straight-off. The total cost of my package was around £114 and i managed to get £50 cashback from Quidco. Overall i found the whole transaction and purchase very user friendly and found their communication to be very helpful and informative. RAC - Breakdown cover
Advantages: nation wide Disadvantages: slow, not too helpful
...me to a garage. the RAC claim to fix about 90% of break downs by the roadside. I'm guessing this means 90% of cars break due to a flat battery? Overall not great service but i'm unsure if any of the other companies (AA or greenflag) would have provided a better service. Having paid around £75 in total for my membership to date I feel I would have been better off without this service and simply calling a tow truck whenever my car breaks down. ...

Tell them if you change your car or pay £45 for a callout
Advantages: I do not use Green Flag anymore and will never do so again Disadvantages: Hidesa fundamental policy requirement in the small print
Green Flag provides a summary of what it thinks are the main points you need to know about the policy but hides in the small print that you are not covered if you change your vehicle. A month or so after changing my car I broke down and found that as I had not informed Green Flag of the vehicle change they wanted £45 for the call out. I had to talk to several different people and pay money over the phone before they would send someone out to help ... ...and phone calls to get an answer. I will never use Green Flag again. In my view I would be forgiven for inferring that Green flag deliberately keep this policy requirement hidden in small print to increase revenue from people at a time when they most need help. ...

Autonational Rescue
Advantages: Cheap Disadvantages: Bad customer care. All callouts seem to take 1+ hours.
...recently had cause to use Autonational Rescue. I had a blow-out on the A10. The tyre spanner gave out and I had to call them out. 5 minutes later, the Police arrived and informed me that I would have to be towed (for a charge of £105). halfords fitting service
Advantages: nice allways aviable customer service Disadvantages: but after any damages you can`t find anybody to took to you.
I`ve took my car to halfords tooday to fit the new speakers in.
My car is a vw passat new shape. i`ve asked them if they know how to remove the door pannel to get them changed. they told me that yes they know. I`ve been told to come back after an hour. when i came back they told me that they cant replace it.
The side pannel has been sticked back in. the result of that was`t good. the fitter said that the clips has been broken cost of 1 pound. I ... ...200£. they will ask their head office and will let me know if the costs of repair will be paid by halfords. I have a bad fillings about that. I wont recomend the halfords to enybody else. If they dont know how to do the job, they should`t even tray. ...
