...I have used Olay Total Effects moisturiser for around the last 5 months, and can honestly say I will not use any other, again. It is applied with fingertips to the face and goes on really smoothly and evenly. The advertising claims it will:- "Help reverse the 7 signs of ageing for visibly younger looking skin: Visibly reduces lines & wrinkles; noticeably smoothes skin texture; visibly evens skin tone; transforms skin dullness to a radiant healthy looking glow; reduces the appearance of pores; diminishes the appearance of blotches & age spots; intensively hydrates dry skin." I have to agree with their claims, especially the smooth skin texture, and healthy glow. It is specially formulated with VitaNiacin, Olay's unique complex of Vitamin E, Vitamin B3 & Pro Vitamin B5. Advantages: pleasantly soothing, reduces redness and takes the sting from spots and stings
Disadvantages: is a bit pricey but so are all spot teatments

...the day before. In desperation I soaked a cotton wool ball in Dettol and sticky taped it over the said zit and went to bed. The next morning when I got up the zit had gone but sadly it was replaced by a chemical burn the size of a penny, suffice to say I never went on that date. Cellex-C isn’t a miracle cure but it is pretty effective for the odd zit. The manufacturer’s statement explains it is “derived from the purest form of Vitamin C found in nature, this antioxidant, L-Ascorbic Acid which is combined with Tyrosine and Zinc, absorbs into the skin to help reduce the appearance of skin changes produced by the aging process. ...available to buy either online at www.thesanctuary.co.uk or at Boots. The packaging is a standard Hand Cream tube white in colour with a semi-transparent flip top lid. The brand logo is printed in the top right corner of the tube - a small orange fish (Koi Carp I think) circled with 'pure self indulgence'. Along with the logo is the name of the product and the following description - 'Pamper hard working hands with anti-oxidant White Tea, Vitamin E & Shea Butter to leave skin soft & satin smooth' On the back of the tube there is a further paragraph about of the product stating – ‘…anti-oxidant White Tea helps to reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
