Advantages: is a great place to study and brighton as a place seems to have something for everyone
Disadvantages: if you're not into campus politics, the 'lefties' could really p*ss you off!!!!
...not to leave at all, as every facility under the sun is only a max 10minute walk away-including pubs, laundrette, shops, restaurants,dotor,pharmacy. banks,bookstore and even a nightclub! If you do venture off campus, the city of brighton is a short bus ride away, waiting to be explored. coming fro london, i was shocked by the similarity of the the cities-brighton is a 'hippie london by the sea'. The pier provides entertainment in freshers week, but other such delights include the laines-camden town style hippie stores, churchill square-brent cross of the southcoast, and a vibrant clubbing scene. Down south, we take our entertainment very seriously. There are hundreds of restaurants, pubs, bars and clubs all around brighton, so you're bound do find something you like!
The university itself boasts an active student union with hundreds of clubs...

Iceland was formed in 1970 by Malcolm Walker and Peter Hinchcliffe and began trading in loose frozen goods from a small rented shop. At the time they both work for Woolworths, although they quickly got the sack when Woolies realised! Iceland grew and grew with link ups with Littlewoods (as their food stores) and later a link up with BHS. Iceland are also one of the larger suppliers of frozen food to the catering industry under the name of Woodward Foodservice.
