Great for bird watchers

Advantages: Fantastic zoom, great value for money
Disadvantages: A little heavy when walking

OVERVIEW As a keen bird watcher, in the spring I decided to replace my rather tatty old (but dearly loved) glasses. The local photography shop introduced me to the Bresser range, and despite my initial concerns over size and weight was 'sold with the Hunter 10x50. These are a very reasonably priced pair, costing around £ 40. They have fantastic light transmission, and their fully coated optics produce an ultra clear high-contrast image replication, this is particularly suitable I find when using the higher magnification. Olympus 8X25 WP I

Advantages: Image adjustments to give great view, waterproof, adjustable eye-relief
Disadvantages: fixed magnification, average build and design quality

Binoculars are mainly used by bird watchers as to get a closer look at them. Many people also use binoculars for occasions such as holidays where they travel to destinations of natural beauty. Using a binocular enables them to see the scenic beauty from a better and closer perspective. The Olympus 8X25 WPI is labeled professional, but can obviously be used by everyday and ordinary people. These particular binoculars have an 8x magnification ability. This is simply the power of magnification on the binoculars, the 8x magnification means that the object or area you view through the binoculars is going to appear 8x larger or closer. The 8x magnification also means that this is the maximum and minimum magnification power of the binoculars. You cannot view an object or place with a lesser or higher magnification than 8x. If in ...

X25 Photon, or just protons?

Advantages: Ease of use, many interchangeable settings
Disadvantages: AXYZ dome

Well the Alesis photon X25, is your standard 25 key midi interface, with a few more adjustable settings than most. Looks: With its sleek design, Led lights, an the AXYZ dome. This thing can be beautriful, but mainly by your own opinion. Im sure many would say it is quite some what ugly with the Organge LED's. But as with most things, these LED's are in actualy fact functional. Ease of Installation: After plugging in, all you have to do is dunk the CD into your drive, and follow the instuctions. If you wish to install Cubase LE, an included product with this, then your installation will be a little more complicated, but not a lot. Feel: The keys feel comfortable, however, at times they do not pick up the sound if you play very softly, but generally all is well. The sound changing knobs are well spread out, and the different ...
