Advantages: 3 in 1 compact unit - juicer, blender and citrus press Disadvantages: doesnt clean well
...I was given this kenwood JE 770 SMOO all in one smoothy maker for my birthday several months ago. It comes with a smoothy maker, a juicer, a cirtrus press and a smoothy rescipe book. For the first couple of uses it was great and the only down side was the time it took to clean.
The smoothy maker developed a brown stain and i couldn't get in to clean it, also im not convinced the tap ever got cleaned properly.
The juicer was also difficult to clean propery, no complants about the citrus press though!
Altogether not a very hygeanic piece of kit!!!
The smoothy maker was easy and quick enought to use. When using the juicer the fruit has to be chopped up in to small pieces and some of the fruits had to be peeled. When using the blender you have to chop up the fruit and also you have to put the liquid and soft fruit at the bottem nearest...

Advantages: Lots of tools, easy to use, free recipe book Disadvantages: Some bits fiddly, flimsy grating/slicing blade attachments
...The colour and design are great. I did however struggle with the chopping/slicing blades as food gets stuck between the blade holder and lid. I also managed to bend a blade as it wasn't manly enough for the job in hand which was frustrating. I now can't use the blade!
The liquidiser is great and has the capacity to crush ice which is great for smoothies and milkshakes. Cleaning it is a bit tricky - you are supposed to be able to remove the blade but I've never been able to do it.
The multiple speed setting is useful as sometimes you don't want to over-whizz food. My only bugbear is that if you are making something very wet, the bowl can leak if you overfill it and whizz it up fast.
Generally however this is a great product and comes with lots of chopping tools that stack neatly inside the machine in a drawer compartment, a large...

Advantages: Juicer, Smoothie Maker & Citrus Press In One Package Disadvantages: Fiddly To Clean, Clogs Up Easily
...The Kenwood Smoothie Juice Bar attempts to combine a Juicer, Smoothie Maker and Citrus Press into one unit but fails at all three.
The citrus press part works OK, but even this can be fiddly with the unit failing to rotate if you put more than gentle pressure on it (which you need to do to extract the juice!)
The centrifugal juicer (which is interchagable with the blender) seems to take up a large quantity of fruit for relatively little juice. At lot of the juice seems to leak through the machine and out of the base.
The Smoothie Maker itself is OK but not brilliant. The blades aren't very sharp and the fruit tends to get stuck at the base of the blender. The unit has two speeds (the lower speed is recommended for the juicer, but I found that the higher speed was needed for the blender). The tap on the blender is detachable which...

As many of you will know, I'm partial to the odd beer or two...although, maybe unusual would be a more apt word. Anyway, on scouring the beer cellar for something suitable to douse my thrapple, to my shock and horror, there was a definite paucity of beer more
