Full review
It's been ages since I wrote my last review as I have not had much chance to sit at my computer for any length of time. Since then I have had many ups and downs but also I have recently found out that I am pregnant (gulp) which was a complete shock as I have a 16 year old just starting college and a 5 year old just starting school. So my morning sickness is lasting all day and cooking tea is awful as I can't stand the smell. Which leads me to this review.

I bought myself a Breville H3 healthy grill that carries the name of Antony Worrall Thomson and it is worth it's weight in gold.

It is a very attractive designed appliance in brushed aluminium so it doesnt look ugly if left out on the workbench.
It features a 15 minute timer which can be clearly heard counting down and has the 'ping' at the end of cooking.

Similar to a sandwich toaster, the H3 has a lift up lid with a very cleverly designed spring hinge which adjusts according the the thickness of the food.
Inside reveals griddle style hotplates which are non-stick. This particular model can hold upto 12 medium sausages. The griddle design makes it so easy to cook them because I don't know about you but whenever I put sausages under the grill they roll the opposite way to which you want them when you put the grill pan back under. This way the sausages are held in place because of the grooves - SO EASY. They take approximately 8 mins to fully cook - frozen takes about 10 - 12 mins.
Bacon takes about 7 mins and can can hold upto 8 slices.
You can cook whole mushrooms, peppers, prawns - anything that you would put under an ordinary grill.

But this is the bit I like. All the fat drains away into a collection tray at the bottom. So after the grill has cooled the tray pulls out the to dispose of the fat. The tray can then be washed as normal or put in the dishwasher.
Both the hotplates unclip for washing and again can be put in the dishwasher. Any residue left can be wiped away with a damp cloth.

Cooking smells are kept down because of the lid which is great news for me!!!
The only disadvantage of this model is the size of the cooking area - I would have preferred a bigger one as this one is ideally suited to a 2 person family. I have to cook one lot and keep it warm while I cook the rest. But the advantages far outweigh this.
So to sum up this grill is the ideal way to cook healthily and without the scrubbing of a normal sized grill.
I paid £39.99 for this model which is cheaper than other other branded grills and I am not disappointed with it. I would imagine it would be ideal for caravaning holidays.

So if you had been toying with the idea of buying a healthy grill the I would definately recommend this one.
